What evidence have you seen yet to think this fight is going to be a big mega event. Mayweather getting 120 million. McGregor getting 70 million does not mean it's a mega event that the general public is going to buy.
ESPN had over 100,000 votes for whom was going to win in 2 days, Ward/Kovalev had like 3,000 in a month. What evidence do you have that it could potentially bomb? I've seen none.
ONE- live gate tickets sales would have sold out (within a few hours) with ticket vendors buying them up. Tickets on the after market for more than face value. No evidence of that yet.

Some MMA fans will pay to see this.. But not that many of them.. This is a Boxing event and they won't support it.. Hundreds of A-list celebrities will pay to see this just to be seen there.. Guys like Tyson, Foreman Holyfield, Klitschko, and Joshua will get free tickets and be flown in.. I doubt GGG, Kovalev, Canelo, or Ward will be there... I doubt Errol Spence, Keith Thurman, Terence Crawford, or Shawn Porter will be there.
Andre Berto might be there ... but nobody who would make a much better and more appropriate opponent for Mayweather than McGregor does will be there.
Hurry buy them now. It's gonna sell out ! yeah right
...wow, I just clicked on it...if you buy it today, you can save whopping 15 dollars you'd better hurry up..
There is no way people are going to pay $2500 hundred for a nosebleed seat. And other seats. It's way way overpriced. They have to fire sale remaining tickets to sell the place out.
Another thing is why did Floyd cut out MGM of this "Big" event. MGM probably didn't want to touch it after the "great" Pacquiao fight. MGM has a reputation to uphold.
I think the Promoter's and every else involved with this extravaganza seriously overestimated the buying public's conscience. Don't think live tickets sales will get much better in the future. Not at those prices.
I take it kids under 12 are free?
I know there will be clowns, but my daughter insists she will not come unless there are horsies. Can anyone confirm ?
The event is going to be massive. There will be literally dozens of shite-tons of celebrities there. The weeks leading up to the fight will be one late night talk show host after another asking Miley Cyrus, Katie Perry, Kanye, and other boxing gurus who they are picking to win. Guest spots on Keeping up with the Kardashians? I think so! All the experts at the local pubs who still think Mike Tyson is the Heavyweight champion will be trying to sell you on how Conor's power is the game changer here. Dana White will predict a KO win for his wee laddie, while Oscar champions Floyd for a change. Massive event, massive PPV, massive prices.
Meanwhile I'll be sat in the loo taking a shat and that will be much more exciting than the exhibition match itself.

Sadly you are right, people who know me and know I like boxing, who never even mention the sport, keep coming up and saying "Who is gonna win, that Connor has one hell of a punch doesn't he?" I've given up on talking about it, I just say it's dog Sh1t, I'm not interested and then move on to talking about how nice the weather has been recently.

They have my email because I have a reward card from them, but I don't go there anymore. Their food is average. Their price to see this event from 9PM to the final bell is $99. I thought that this would be the price to watch it at home, so I thought that the restaurants would charge less, like around $40. The email states that the $99 does not include tax and gratuity, so it will be more than $99 after paying that, but it does include VIP reserved seating, premium open bar, and of course, event admission. Twin Peaks will probably charge less than $99. It would be better to have a party at someone's home and everyone contributes to the $99 or whatever the home price is going to be. I'm assuming it will be $99.
Can't believe bars in US charge you to watch a fight. Was in Orlando last month would somewhere like a millers or wing house have the fight on?
They normally don't, but it depends on the magnitude of the fight. Twin Peaks restaurant usually does not charge. They were showing Golovkin vs. Jacobs for free, but they charged to see Canelo vs. Chavez Jr. I'm glad I didn't pay to see that. I don't know if Miller's Ale House or WingHouse are going to show Mayweather vs. McGregor. The management could be thinking that it will attract customers, but it could actually repel them if the cover charge is too high and the restaurants may have to charge a high price if the broadcast fee is high for the restaurant which it probably will be. The commercial fee is always higher than the residential fee. I think any price above $40 per person is going to turn people away.

Imagine what the cable companies are going to charge.
I thought it was going to be the same price at $99 for the residential fee. This restaurant has an open bar, so that is one reason why the price is so high. They get free drinks, but they have to pay for food unless they choose not to eat. I don't think the residential fee will go over $99. If people see $100 cable price or more, I think people are going to live without it.

Do you really think it'll bomb? I think it's going to be a massive commercial success!

What you’ve just claimed is a load of fúckíng moronic shít! According to Viagogo's website, there are only 304 tickets left (less than 2% remaining for this event).
I don’t mind, but the first Mayweather-McGregor official press conference hasn’t even been held yet! FFS!

Not So. According to this website. Matter of fact same amounts of tickets from yesterday to today in the nosebleed seats.

One. It's not a fair fight. 49-0 vs. 0-0. How does someone trying to hype the fight explain that gap experience wise with a straight face.
Two. Way to expensive
Three- Mayweather-Pacquiao was 6 or 7 years maybe more anticipation and build up. Mayweather -McGregor six months or so a year maybe build up and judging by ticket sales so far not much anticipation if any at all.
