If not for all those ongoing legal problems he'd show ya

I've always liked Garcia but NEVER until now have I known that he wanted to be a cop. I actually used to like Broner when he first came on the scene (many of my favorite fighters have been black since I was a little kid). But since it has become obvious that he is just a thug I always root against him. It will be extra nice to see a thug like Broner get beaten down by a guy like Mikey who wanted to be a cop.gilgamesh wrote:I'm not big on either of them, but I'd rather see Garcia win as he has more interesting potential matchups awaiting him.
Broner is an annoying jackass. Garcia they've mentioned before wanted to be a cop prior to becoming a boxer, so that pretty much guarantees I'll never be a fan of his, but I'd still rather see him fight than Broner.
Garcia-Loma would be great & I agree that he has a much better chance to beat Loma than he does Crawford!!Badhusker wrote:I hope it is a war, good fight at least. Brandon Rios claims Garcia hits harder than Pacquiao or Matthysse. Maidana claims Broner hits harder than anyone he has fought. Broner needs to be at his best to have a chance. Garcia is superior technically, and apparently has KO power.
Hopefully, if Garcia wins, he will lure Lomo up to 135 and fight him there. He would have more of a chance beating Lomo at 135 than Crawford at 140. Both would be very tough fights.
Right now I would tend to agree with you.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:It's certainly subjective, I'm of the opinion that Crawford is the world's best fighter.
I agree Garcia wouldnt beat Crawford right now, but I'd give him even money against Lomachenko, maybe even make him a slight favorite.Blodhemn wrote:Didn't Crawford beat Garcia in the amateurs? Disagree and it's completely redundant.Best Coast wrote:I agree Garcia wouldnt beat Crawford right now, but I'd give him even money against Lomachenko, maybe even make him a slight favorite.Blodhemn wrote:Didn't Crawford beat Garcia in the amateurs? And I dont think its splitting hairs to say Crawford is the best of the 3. A reasonable argument could be made for Terence being #1 P4P right now (although a dominant win by either GGG or Canelo might supplant him).
