Gutierrez apparently slipped in shower and sliced his chin open, I seen a pic on twitter but I cant post links sorry, gutted isn't the word

Must've been some slip, scar wide open on his chin, nose looks broken, chipped his teeth, looks as if he's been filled in

I am sure he deliberately fecked himself up the night before a potential break out fight that he has worked so hard for just so he can help out his opponents promotional company who you think may suffer financially due to the other guy in Frampton screwing up. That makes total logical sense

Seen another picture on the42.ie and it does show dental damage. Don't think somebody would deliberately slice their chin and break their teeth to save face for somebody else. Shit happens

Also boxing with a few broken teeth and mild concussion shouldn't be a hindrance. I mean it's not like he's worked all his life to get into the position to box a world title eliminator. Get the gloves on you soft c**t.

Its quite easy to slip in the shower while picking up the soap. Its the most common accident whilst in prison.

Anything is possible in Boxing but I have to admit this is a strange one.

The lad has obviously taken a tumble by the look of the photo thats doing the rounds but why pull the whole show? All those lads on the undercard miss out, the TV slot was already in place .

I guess he must have been in one of those bath showers rather than a proper shower as proper showers don't have taps! Damn sharp taps!

I reckon it must have been bath/shower combo. It did his nose, teeth and chin.

I know Belfast is a tough gig, but showers/baths taking liberties is going a bit too far

How frequently do boxers slip in the shower? It seems to happen more than it should...

I recall Danny Williams had a fight cancelled a few years ago for the same reason, admittedly Williams is at risk from a stiff breeze these days, but still...
