Will be betting on Hall. Knowing my luck lately, we'll see another joke decision.

Hall's older than last time and Butler is more into his physical prime than last time so I think Butler points is the most likely outcome.

Best performance I've ever seen from him. I thought Father Time has caught up with Hall. Legs looked heavy and seemed far less snappy than usual with his punches.

Will Hall retire now? He should and I read during the buildup that he said he would have nowhere to go if he lost but we all know how boxers find many reasons not to retire. He's a fine example of making the most of what he's got skills wise and, even though the world title situation is so fractured these days there is still only a tiny percentage of fighters who ever win one...

hall cant retire. they need to use him to lose to yet another of butler-mcdonnell-haskins. maybe theyll give stew a shot at burnett if he wins next fight. and then after that third fight with haskins. and then a mcdonnell rematch. and then a prizefighter with butler, hall, haskins, burnett, mcdonnell, ian napa, stephan jamoye, and martin power. vusi malinga as the sub.

Bit harsh that lads isn't it? what's he ever done to you?

I know Stuey and he's a top lad, I'm proud of what he has achieved and he should be as well, what he does now who knows but its unfair to take the piss in my opinion. He is afraid of no one and never even been close to being stopped or hurt. A proper fighter who at least always came to fight. Maybe I'm being over sensitive as a friend of his but I'm guessing most people on here would be proud to say they have achieved what he has in the ring.

Good luck to him whatever he does next.

not harsh at all. good fighter. id love to have even been half as good as him. commonwealth and british champ and fought for euro and world titles. was competitive in those and had some good wins in title eliminators vs guerrero and maligna. recall that quite a few had him beating or drawing first butler fight. just that he features in an awful lot of rematches and at nearly 38 not going his way these days. not a knock on any of those fighters i mention. just that theyve had a hell of a lot of goes at each other.

Hall was also world champ as well
