It's debatable whether Hughie has the skills or not but I don't think he's physically strong enough to ward off a big lump like Miller. His energy would get sapped pretty quickly and he'd end up shipping punishment on the ropes.

Washington would be a cracking HW if he had more pop, more importantly confidence/heart. He didn't fancy the Miller fight after 30 seconds.

Miller doesn't hit hard enough and gets hit far to easy.

The best of these USA Hw's around the #10-25 mark is Breazeale by a million miles.

I'm not really sure that Breazeale is better than Miller. I still think Kassi had a strong case for beating DB, and the latter's best wins were life and deaths with C+ level guys. He didn't actually win a round against Masnour (50-44 x3)...

Joseph Parker's last three went 12 rounds - Takem, Ruiez and Cojanu.
Ruiez's workrate was as high as Washington's was in the first two rounds except Andy dit that for 10 of the 12, Takem got a bit gassed toward the 9-11 round mark but finished well in the 12th. Wlad and AJ would have easilly done 12 if not for the stoppage. Wilder always shows up supremely fit, and as long as he dosent get hit too much would be there for 10 or 12. Whyte and Chisora went 10 sometimes ponderous rounds. Adam baby face could do 10 with a high work rate, the list goes on...

He's showed heart in every fight I've seen him in.

In a weird way he impressed me in the Mansour fight. Even though he was losing rounds he showed heart and grit. I know Mansour suffered a injury but I thought Breazeale would of pulled it off anyway.
Similar to Ugonoh fight. Went down, showed heart and fought through.
He's no world beater but always in good fights. I'd enjoy watching Miller-Breazeale. Personally I'd favour Breazeale.

Breazeale has to be one of the slowest boxers I've ever seen, I amazed he seems to get rated so highly.

If nothing else, Mansour by all rights should have beaten him, so he'd be the best.

Yeah because of an issue with Mansour's gumgaurd and his cold. Despite which he still was battering him.

He's been easy to outbox but found a way to win on two occasions now.
Yes Mansour was ahead but he bit through his tongue after Breazeale landed a punch.
It was a accident but still caused by Breazeale.
I can't rate Mansour above Breazeale just because he was ahead. At the end of the day Breazeale beat him.

I can see them trying to get a Breazeale-Wilder fight down the line after their hotel fracas.

Miller-Breazeale would be a good fight.

Surprised at all the positive comments here as I thought he looked slow & sluggish myself.

Miller looked dreadful. By today's standard's of course he just looked average.
