he is vastly overrated & AJ would beat him easily
And who else is there for Joshua?
1. Tyson Fury - Unavailable
2. Wladimir Klitschko - Retired
3. Alexander Povetkin - Drugs Ban?
4. Deontay Wilder - Got a rubbish mandatory to fight
5. Kubrat Pulev
6. Joseph Parker - Got to fight Hughie First
7. Luis Ortiz
8. Andy Ruiz Jr
9. Carlos Takam
10. Dilian Whyte II
11. Derek Chisora
12. Tony Bellew
13. David Haye
14. Jarrell Miller
15. Christian Hammer
The Wladimir rematch was by far the best available fight for Joshua.
Ortiz looks like a pretty good opponent considering what's available.
Povetkin doesn't have a drugs ban lol, but he does usually only fight once every 6 months ish, untill Wilder his lab wasted piles of time. Luckely that lab is currently suspended. This is also why Wilder probably doesn't fight at this moment, he needs that lab to keep him look like innocent.

Well, if he's not banned then he's the only fighter available who is clearly a better opponent than Ortiz.
It's strange how people are mocking top 5 opponents for Joshua like they are garbage.
What do these people actually think is out there for Joshua to face?

Agree...there is little depth to the division and talk of it being vastly better now is nonsense. The top guys are Povetkin (already 119-104'd by Wlad), a slow, ancient Cuban, and everyone's favourite bottom-feeder. Parker probably would've lost to a guy like Eddie Chambers...
Still, I don't see how you can deride these sorts given who else is out there.

He may not have entertained or fought in a style we wanted but he recognised his limitations (kinda obvious when dropped and KO'd a few times) and came up with a way to continue to collect "W"s
But I am pissed as I have dreamt of Vegas for a fight for 30 years and timing, lack of funds, kids etc over the years have never made it possible, now I can and had it semi planned, it does not happen

I heard there's a few tickets left for Mayweather-McGregor

He's 'my generation' so as much as anything it makes me realise I'm old.

There are more good boxers, but most simply get ignored. I'm still waiting for Tyrone to get a serious fight.

He would have had a very good chance in the rematch.
I figured the same. However, when he had Joshua pretty much there for the taking he couldn't overcome his natural reticence. So perhaps that was as good as it gets. Joshua would probably have fought with more patience second time around. He will never have great stamina with that hulking build, but lije wlad he can learn to pace binself.
