Dont underestimate Joshuas ambition. He wont vacate unless he absolutely has to. Eddie already wanted to vacate WBA and dodge Ortiz but AJ told him to try keep it.

To say he'd be ready after 5-7 fights is just laughable, in fairness I've seen him look to be gassing in the amateurs so going 12 may be a very big issue

No, but it would be somewhat risky, considering that Lewison's biggest strength lays in the same area as Joe's biggest weakness - Joyce is very vulnerable for big overhand rights.

Matchmaking should be about the fighter and not a promoter trying to make a splash in a promotional pissing contest.
