The fans deserve ALL of the credit for this fight happening because Oscar and Canelo wanted no part of a GGG fight right now. Had Canelo not taken the low hanging fruit fight with Cotto to grab the belts at MW, fans wouldn't have demanded this fight half as much as they did.

This is one and done... because I do feel that Canelo will win this fight with a controversial decision and it's over with. He may fight GGG in another 5 years or when GGG really loses a step or two but there won't be an immediate rematch. No shot.
Yup, they would say a win is win and move on. GGG has to really batter or stop Canelo to get the win but I also think that Canelo has good chances to get a clear victory.

What about a Canelo knockout win? It COULD happen if Ward/Kovalev II taught us anything right? A Canelo KO would push him to a famous level very rarely reached by a boxer I think. I'm rooting for GGG in this one but a Canelo win would be better for the sport of boxing for many reasons so I won't be that upset if it happens. Just hoping that we have a fairly declared victor.

I'm not ruling out a TKO win from Canelo. Anything can happen. :TU:

Canelo knocking GGG out is not going to happen. Canelo is not a huge puncher imo. He lands some nice shots, but GGG has a pretty good beard. I can only envision a decision with this fight. GGG is more skilled, but his style suits Canelo perfectly. I think endurance may be a factor, and an advantage for GGG.

If I had to guess, Canelo has a rematch clause, but didn't allow one for GGG. If Canelo edges him having at least one judge in his pocket as usual, he won't give a rematch.
