C'mon, AJ is a big stiff idiot. Tyson would make easy work of him in under a round. If Wlad had been a year younger he would have had Joshua sparked in half a fight.
Joshua went life and death with a clearly past it fortysomething who hadn't won a fight in over two years.Boxing Writer wrote:LOL. Lewis in his 19th fight went the distance against Levi "Frigging" Billups and couldn't even hurt Billups, who was KO'ed 10 times (including 7 or 8 early and brutal KTFOs). Joshua is no Lewis. Tyson obliterates klitschko too.
Lewis dismantles klitschko and Joshua.
Clearly past it? It was probably his best ever performance!jtourettes wrote:Joshua went life and death with a clearly past it fortysomething who hadn't won a fight in over two years.Boxing Writer wrote:LOL. Or you could call wlad an ATG ..jtourettes wrote:Joshua went life and death with a clearly past it fortysomething who hadn't won a fight in over two years.Boxing Writer wrote:LOL. Wlad is an atg career wise. Doesn't mean he wasn't shot when he faced AJ. I'd give AJ 4 rounds at most against 86 Tysonpaddy chavez wrote:Or you could call wlad an ATG ..jtourettes wrote:Joshua went life and death with a clearly past it fortysomething who hadn't won a fight in over two years.Boxing Writer wrote: LOL. He wasn't shot at all he looked good and should of wonjtourettes wrote:Wlad is an atg career wise. Doesn't mean he wasn't shot when he faced AJ. I'd give AJ 4 rounds at most against 86 Tysonpaddy chavez wrote:Or you could call wlad an ATG ..jtourettes wrote:

Wlad was certainly not shot and is definitely an ATG. Not sure he should have won, he had a big chance but I think Joshua showed immense courage and a decent chin to get through a crisis and then put a great finish on him.paddy chavez wrote:He wasn't shot at all he looked good and should of wonjtourettes wrote:Wlad is an atg career wise. Farcically overstated. Wlad couldn't pull the trigger? He pulled it more than he did in pretty much any fight in the last ten years?!jtourettes wrote:Wlad couldn't pull the trigger. It's embarrassing that AJ almost lost to the ghost of Wlad.
Mitch Green took him 10 in 86 too but proves nothing. None of these boxers were anything like AJ.Ezzard wrote:Crazy talk... Tillis took him 10 rounds... Bonecrusher the full 15...as did Tucker...

Have we seen anything from Joshua yet to suggest he could score an early KO against someone with a chin as good as Tyson's? I wouldn't bet confidently on Joshua against Bruno, never mind Tyson.Ezzard wrote:Bruno, Tomas, Biggs, Ribalta, Ferguson...mimmy123 wrote:Mitch Green took him 10 in 86 too but proves nothing. Too many people are getting Mike Tyson the boxer confused with Mike Tyson the highlight reel. He was a fantastic fighter who could score an early KO. But then so could Joshua. The strength of conviction for an early Tyson KO is unfounded.
Yes, but joshua isnt a great inside fighter.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Tyson's lack of inside game is being underestimated.
