If the winner got a life times supply of Big Mac's. Then Lewison would have a chance.

Not going to say Joyce will be a world champion.
But I bet right now he would beat Dillian Whyte.

lol, ironically it would probably be among the best ways to get him in shapeExoddus wrote:If the winner got a life times supply of Big Mac's. Then Lewison would have a chance.
imagine how motivated he'd be!

Whyte is not very good.

I think he's fringe world class (even though world class is pretty shallow at the moment) - and an experienced professional. It's a tough ask.Naandrew wrote:Yes no jokeboxingknockout wrote:Really?Naandrew wrote:Not going to say Joyce will be a world champion.

Mind you it would be a great fight; and a very interesting one.

Has Lewinston ever been over in his career, amateur or pro? I believe he's very tough.Stuarty30 wrote:Joyce will stop Lewinson in 4.
Joyce is big, strong and with a great work rate. So he may just overwhelm Lewistons. BUT he has vulnerabilities himself and if Louistons is up and stays out of KFC for it, he's a very tough opponent.

I'm just doing the maths from what I know bruvboxingknockout wrote:Has Lewinston ever been over in his career, amateur or pro? I believe he's very tough.Stuarty30 wrote:Joyce will stop Lewinson in 4.

Oh I'm just asking mate, not stating my position. I expect Joyce to win but it's a great debut and very interesting.Stuarty30 wrote:I'm just doing the maths from what I know bruvboxingknockout wrote:Has Lewinston ever been over in his career, amateur or pro? Very good debut mate! Couldn't quite believe it when I saw what was going down!boxingknockout wrote:Oh I'm just asking mate, not stating my position. I expect Joyce to win but it's a great debut and very interesting.Stuarty30 wrote:I'm just doing the maths from what I know bruvboxingknockout wrote:

There's part of me that thinks.... is Haye just throwing him in at the deep end? Has he got a clause in the contract that says something like 'in the event of a loss, Haye promotions retains the right to terminate the contract forthwith.'? Does he want to know soon if he's got something or would be wasting his time?Stuarty30 wrote:Very good debut mate! I've heard of this tactic before
Re: Joe Joyce vs. Ian Lewison - October 20th 2017
Looks like Haye has more faith in Joyce than himself, I'd strongly fancy Lewison over both the Dominator Demori and the Swis Cobra.
Re: Joe Joyce vs. Ian Lewison - October 20th 2017
looking forward to this fight its a very tough debut for Joyce don't be surprised if Lewison causes some real problems

Re: Joe Joyce vs. Ian Lewison - October 20th 2017
This is Lewison's 1st fight since fighting Whyte for the British a year ago when he was as usual well out of shape, it would be great if he came into this fight looking trim and up for it but I doubt it, still fair play to Joyce going into a scheduled 10 rounder against a guy whos pretty durable, ive only seen Joyce fight in the Olympic final where he impressed but I personally never felt it was a robbery. close but not a robbery IMO
Fancy Joyce to get Lewison out of there by about the 7th

Very good debut opponent.
I can't see Joyce doing much at pro level though. Didn't he get KOd 3 times in the amateurs? Once against a bum.
I see him been another David Price. He'll do well at British level until he faces a fringe contender like Taken or Duhaupas and get KOd.

Saw Lewison interviewed yesterday he looks heavy as such I expect Joyce to outwork him to a late stoppage or points win.

Just me who thinks Big Joe is very slim around the body?
