I think people are vastly underestimating Fury and over rating Parker. Don't forget this is gonna be occuring in the UK aswell. I wouldn't be shocked at all if Fury beats him.

I agree. I think Fury has a chance even if it was at a neutral site. It is an advantage for Fury that the fight is in the UK.

The BBBC have appointed Terry O'Connor as Referee, He is the worst Referee in the World so I suspect the Fix is in as they have appointed British Judges as well, Totally against the WBO Rules which state that all Judges and referees should be from neutral countries,
The WBO have asked the BBBC to abide by WBO rules in this regard but to no AVAIL....

So if the BBBC have not changed their stance by Fight time I can see the WBO withdrawing Title Recognition from this bout,
In other words, if Fury Wins Parker will still be Champion.....

I'd put it about 60/40 in Parker's favour. Hughie is a good boxer with good mobility although I don't think he's any kind of puncher. His level of opposition has been lower than Parker's Dimitrenko and Kassi v Takam and Ruiz and apart from an exhibition against the limited but very spirited Kamil Sokolowski, he's been largely inactive.

I agree Fujimoto would make good sense. He really is very mediocre and ought to be nowhere near the top thirty never mind contention, but Parker could beat him with his ankles strapped together and it would go down well in Japan so why not?

O'Connor is a poor ref imo but he's not corrupt. You know what you are gonna get, if you're hurt and look in trouble he pulls you out a bit on the early side sometimes. But he's consistent with that. He's not corrupt though. Saying the fix is in place is really a casual comment from you

Guys, are you kidding me or what? Hughie has no chance with Joe. He is so slow and has no defence at all. His opponents-old bald waiters did not respond for his big lazy, blind shots but Parker will do. Parker is super fast, strong and have wide range of shots combination. I think he is too little for AJ or Wilder ot Povietkin but Fury looks like a kid to him. If Joe would like to fast fight he will finish him in second round what I believe.

Guess we don't have long to wait before we can see your theory tested.

He wouldn't be too small for Povetkin. Parker has a 2" height and 1" reach advantage to the best of my knowledge. A fight between those two could potentially be a classic, there again they'd both have to show a marked improvement from their last wins or they could equally potentially stink the place out.

No chance. Parker have no interest to go to Russia (only if Povetkin's promoter will pay huge amount of money, and he will not at this economical situation in Russia) and nobody out of Russia will pay to watch Povetkin (if he'll be ready to fight out of Russia, he didn't do it for about a decade).

Actually i don't think that Riabinski is affected by ''economical situation in Russia'' whatever it means as Russian economy is doing better than most of European economies. and would be a huge hype in Russia to have a HW world boxing champion/

Looks like easy opponent for Parker next.
Plus a nice fat payday, as Higgie and Duco have talks with the Japanese about a mega Tokyo showdown with Kyotaro Fujimoto.
Bob Arum and Duco Events working together to let Japan's Kyotaro Fujimoto be the first of his countrymen to have a crack at a HW belt. Fujimoto is 6' and Parker is 6'4" but Fujimoto has a decent reach.

I don't think Wilder will get past Ortiz... In fact, I think Ortiz will be a dangerous opponent for Joshua even when he's 39.

Parker won't be any problem for Joshua... Parker should have stopped Fury -- but you can still see Parker's punches coming. He's not deceptive or sharp like Joshua, Ortiz, or even Wilder can be, when he's on top of his game. Those are 3 great Heavyweights. Parker could be a 4th good one if he got himself a great boxing coach. I don't think he ever will for a long time.. He's got it easy at the moment winning all his fights.. When he finally realizes that he's not learning anything he'll be like George Foreman against Jimmy Young -- possibly discouraged and out for 10 years. He'll be older than Wladimir was when Wlad hired Emmanuel Steward -- I said for years and years Wladimir needed a coach and finally the message was Corrie Sanders.

Yes. I've been saying that for a while. Barry has got him as far as the Takem fight and Parker has not stepped up to the level he needs to be since then. He needs a Steward Roach or one if the other top 5 trainers in order to succeed. He has the motivation to train but is not learning the skills needed to step up. Hughie proved that.

Wilder got someone else, AJ wants the winner Ortiz, I wouldn't be surprised if Parker fight the other Australian.

Parker is a New Zealander... Browne is an Aussie... So that fight is a natural and an easy win for Parker -- also a lot of money for the boys from down under.

Parker is a big strong heavyweight. Nice win against Fury, who was literally on his bicycle the entire fight. I would like to see Parker branch out a bit and fight in other countries. USA and Great Britian are great platforms for heavyweights. I think a Whyte fight in the U.K. or Miller in Brooklyn, are two solid options for him at this time.

That all makes perfect sense. I think there is a possibility of one volountary defence before the Haye Bellew winner fight. Parker is getting offers left right and centre. Big money offers. I wouldn't be surprised if he took a payday fight before the end of the year.

Joe Parker has learnt at a much earlier age than Luis Ortiz, that if you want to get opportunities, it doesn't pay to look too impressive

Hi guys. I am ashamed due to Parker. He should win it easy, he should beat Hughie. Parker looks like he is slowing down with his career and i do not know why. He beats so mindless and he was so slow. At general he prepared for this fight? Because it did not look so. And what do you guys mean about couch Barry? I read about it some time ago that he is a bad couch? But i do not know why. May you explain me that? I am just not so deep in boxing to understand that opinion
