Hopkins: Golovkin on The Decline, He Didn't Get Better!

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

“One thing I saw tonight is that Triple-G is on the decline. He didn’t get better. He fought a guy who was quicker. If he fought [Canelo] again, it’ll be easier." Hopkins said.

Bhop and Oscar have built their own little Floyd from scratch in their garage the last 7 or 8 years. They fixed the fights they had to fix. They paid the people that they had to pay. And now, Canelo is pretty much Floyd. He owns Vegas and you won't see him away from that location.

Someone should have told him he should get over Taylor and Calzaghe and see what he says.

If Alvarez can up his workrate a bit then he should be able to deal with Golovkin comfortably in a rematch.

The problem is without PEDs, he can't up his workrate. He's always fought in spurts and I doubt he will change that within a year.

He already tried and failed. Golovkin is a bigger betting favorite for the rematch than he was for the original fight.

Canelo didn't beat GGG the first time. Rematch is stupid, other than the money it generates.
