The build-up is going to be painful.

Bellew morphs into Nobby Nobbingham in pre-fight mode & he becomes unbearable.

Haye is more measured, but still equally annoying as he will talk as if he is still relevant or has done something of note in the HW division recently, then after all that, he'll either pull out injured or come into the ring with a severed arm try & claim some sort of moral victory!

I think Haye wins. Until he was injured last time he was winning anyway without looking great. Bellew got a fair bit of credit just for not being annihilated but I still had him losing, and his inability to put away a one legged men who's never been seen as having the greatest of chins raised questions.

Haye hadn't any issues with his Achilles before so if it is indeed sorted I strongly favour him.

What boxing knowledge tells you that? he couldn't KO Haye in the first fight and Haye was hoping and holding the ropes to keep him up. The ref reluctantly stopped it

Of course, the first fight. Before the 6th round, it was a competitive match. It's true that Haye suffered of a broken Achilles tendon, but, it's also true that Bellew suffered a broken hand (even if i don't know in which round). Then, Haye is 36, 37 when the match will be on, two more than Bellew. The chin of Haye is not a solid chin, Bellew got a more solid chin and is in a good moment since the Makabu win.

Was just reading a George Groves interview on sky sports and he alluded to the fact that David Haye left Shane, rather than the other way round.

I find that surprising, id assumed it was Shane who called a time on them working together. I wonder if he blamed him for his timing etc being off, or whether it was because he had the plan to link up with Salas for his promotional deal.

The undercard will be shite. Both fighters want maximum payday.

I read that Haye likes to do his own thing in training and pretty much ignores what the trainers tell him. I also read a recent Groves interview where he seemed to take a swipe at Haye which is strange as they were good mates.

I don’t care what anyone says about their first fight, Haye was crocked going into it. Amazing coincidence that the press reported he had an Achilles injury the week before the fight and reported that he flew to Germany to eee a specialist. That combined with his ringwalk where Haye was clearly limping before the fight. Bellew even mentioned Haye being injured before the fight, he said someone from Hayes camp leaked it. I reckon Haye went on a boat in the USA because he was injured and could hide away from the press. His timing was off probably because he couldn’t train.
