I think he takes the Saunders fight... He's had one easy fight in the UK and it did gangbusters... Why not another for a bigger prize and more money???

This. Has anyone done this since Hopkins and Taylor in the MW division?. Crawford has @ 140 recently but it woukl be good for his legacy.

I think they dodn't want to waste their time with that clown(BJS) when they have something serious in their hands like a rematch with Canelo. At end of the day Oscar and Canelo kept their word and fought Golovkin but Saunders The Pig was a joke and lost his pen. :OhYes:

Golovkin lost his pen. Saunders had agreed to take the fight.

My best guess is that they try to make the rematch for May 2018, which will be GGG's next fight. Either fighter getting injured could derail that happening, though, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Golden Boy try to stretch it out to September 2018. Personally I'd like to see GGG in the ring again in December or early 2018, but I don't think that's going to happen, unless they actually announce the rematch for September.

I'd like to see GGG face Saunders and Lemieux and Jacobs fight before the end of the year. Lemieux deserves a big fight because he couldn't have done more since losing to GGG. If i'm any of the above fighters, i'm avoiding Charlo at all costs. That kid is bad news for the division. Charlo's combination of speed and power are unmatched at 160. A younger GGG would be the only one that could walk through it. I think an older GGG would be fish in a barrel against Charlo.

Agreed, but I know "bad news" when I see it and that guy would probably beat them all right now. I'd bet Charlo over ever 160 pounder right now besides GGG. I'd never bet against my boy but it would be a tough night.

Charlo hasn't even GGG's resume pre-Lemieux fight at 160 lbs! Charlo vs Murata-Hassan N'Dam winner or Lemieux would be a good start for Charlo to prove himself at 160 lbs! :TU:
