I think he can also do well with the Irish NY thing. Bring Irish fighters to New York to face American blokes. They did something like that this year and it was successful. Eddie could do it better IMO. I don't understand why that is a 'thing', maybe someone could explain. But it puts bums on seats.

It is if the product is good. However a fair amount of Eddie's cards (in regards to competitive match ups) are no better than the current dross that is served up by promoters the world over. Eddie just does a better job of selling it to the masses.

If it was a UFC type monopoly (not that the UFC is a complete monopoly) whereby the UFC holds the majority of the top talent and actually matches them up together, I'd be all for it. That's what a lot of us were hoping for with the PBC but we all know how that has played out.
