Yeah you don't wanna trade shots with a guy that has the punching power that Bivol has. Especially when you have the height advantage like Broadhurtst did. Just a different class. Rough night for the kid.Like a Boss wrote: ↑04 Nov 2017, 18:28Trent looked a bit too keen to mix it with Bivol. He did land a decent shot at the opening. But.
Bivol has the look of a guy really going places. Time may make put some perspective on Broadhurst's disappointment.gilgamesh wrote: ↑04 Nov 2017, 18:29Yeah you don't wanna trade shots with a guy that has the punching power that Bivol has. I know it probably wouldn’t happen cause I think they spar a lot together but Trent beats Damien Hooper I think. It would be an option and a good fight for Aussie Boxing.australiahere wrote: ↑04 Nov 2017, 20:31 poor Trent .. what's he going too do now ?? he'd wouldn't be feeling the best right now ..
I think thats part of the problem , getting to the top Aust level is easy for the better guys , but without them fighting each other that next level will be just a little bit to far away , and they just don't fight each other any more . Its been touched on so many times , but i really don't know who's to blame trainers , promotors , or the fighters themselves ... personaly i will be blasted for this but i blame the fighters , after all there ultimatly in charge , if no one will fight them its not there fault , but i'm sure if the fighter told his trainer i want to fight everyone and i'll go elswhere , if it does'nt happen then i'm sure that if it can be made it will .. I totally agree. These are the fights that should be made so the winner could be ready for the next level. Least they would be the best in Australia before moving on to the worlds best.coneye wrote: ↑06 Nov 2017, 19:58I think thats part of the problem , getting to the top Aust level is easy for the better guys , but without them fighting each other that next level will be just a little bit to far away , and they just don't fight each other any more . Predictable after his demolition of Berridge and Agnew on the Ward-Kovalev 2 undercard. Bivol is like Beterbiev,Deveryachenko etc a well schooled EE fighter. Hope Trent can come back and still make a decent earn from boxing fighting fighters on his level and isn't ruined mentally.
Yeah gotta feel for him. Hope he made a decent earn out of it at least.australiahere wrote: ↑07 Nov 2017, 01:59 poor trent, devoted his whole life too boxing, woke up everyday and trained hard to think he'd hold the world title belt and too also too make Australia proud ..all he wanted was to be at the top
