I too was a Shandling's Show devotee (how's my hair?) and recall the piss-poor Sean Hughes rip-off, but Larry Sanders blew it out of the water.

It introduced me to the phrase 'ratbastard', for which I am forever grateful.

Had Sugar Ray and Big George on it as well.
