Great fight.
I think I lost on pointsHorse wrote:Great fight.

I want Tyson Fury to be knocked out viciously.
I'd rather have the latter because people should've DONE realized Briggs is shot, and the people that still don't think he is are too stupid to bother trying to explain things to.
This fight would suck, and would give both fighters more credibility than they deserve at this point.
Tyson Fury is such a fat sack of worthless sh*t that even Briggs would likely be able to last the distance against him.
He won a staring contest vs Wladimir Klitschko. Not a fight.Wa1nuts wrote:
He beat Klitschko convincingly. Joshua nearly lost to Wlad over a year later. Is Joshua a lean sack of sh t?

Joshua beat Klitschko in a great fight.
The Tyson Fury/Wlad fight is the kinda thing that lowers a fighters reputation. At least for me.
2 big guys standing there like they're afraid of their own shadow doesn't impress me.

Or he could take measures to ensure YOU don't call him a fat sack of worthless sh*t - that might not require as much effortgilgamesh wrote:First off. I don't think of myself as "A Mod". I'm the same gilgamesh I ever was before they ever made me a Mod, and prior to being a Mod I would've said stuff like that. Now that I am a mod. Surely calling a fighter a fat sack of worthless sh*t is unbecoming of a mod?
If Tyson Fury doesn't like being called a fat sack of worthless sh*t he can take measures to NOT be a fat sack of worthless sh*t.
Hope I've settled that dilemma for ya.
You miss every punch you don't throwWa1nuts wrote:
I agree. However he still won convincingly. The fact that Joshua struggled shows that Joshua isn't as great as everybody makes out. Regardless of how entertaining the fight was. Wlad said after the fury fight he didn't throw his right because he couldn't land on fury.
I call 'em like I see 'em. I'd say you should take measures not to get your panties in a bunch when people speak the truth.candyslim wrote:

Every punch you throw when your opponent keeps you at the wrong distance puts you at risk of getting countered and knocked outgilgamesh wrote:You miss every punch you don't throwWa1nuts wrote:

All the talking in the world ain't gonna change the fact that's the worst fight there ever was, and Tyson Fury is the worst Heavyweight Champion there ever was.ewenhay wrote:Every punch you throw when your opponent keeps you at the wrong distance puts you at risk of getting countered and knocked outgilgamesh wrote:You miss every punch you don't throwWa1nuts wrote:

How'd he make a fool out of Wlad?Wa1nuts wrote:I'm not even a fury fan haha. I used to hate him years ago now I'm not really arsed about him. But there's no denying he made a fool out of wlad. Yet joshua gets praise for struggling to beat him when wlad 2 years older. It's crazy

I like fury, he definitely made wlad look foolish for not punching him in his wide open face. Joshua or Wilder would take that invitation and flatten him in short order.Wa1nuts wrote:I'm not even a fury fan haha. I used to hate him years ago now I'm not really arsed about him. Would have could have should have. A lot of what ifs there.gilgamesh wrote:How'd he make a fool out of Wlad?Wa1nuts wrote:I'm not even a fury fan haha. Wlad didn't fight, Fury barely fought. He was in the ring on a night when barely fighting was enough to win the Heavyweight Championship of the World. Any other Heavyweight Champion throughout history would've actually thrown punches, and therefore would've beaten Fury by KO. He's a bum.
Hell Wlad would've even beaten him any other night. I don't know what his problem was that night, but it wasn't that Fury was good, it's that he didn't fight.
They both made a fool of the sport that such a crapfest was for "The Heavyweight Championship of the World"
Anybody can beat somebody that doesn't fight you back. Bryant Jennings could've done it, Samuel Peter could've done it, even Francesco Pianeta could've done it. Wlad actually threw punches when he fought those guys. He just stared at Fury for 36 minutes.ewenhay wrote:

Yes it was a poor fight, yes Fury has embarrassed himself and the sport on several occasions but on the night he was in decent shape and tactically he nullified Wlad completely which most have been unable to do in the last ten years.
In any case Ossyrules is right, the Fury ship has probably sailed for good now.
Now you're letting your emotions get the better of you. I spent half the fight on the phone with a fellow wlad hater laughing at how he refused to punch such a wide open target. Those southpaw jabs to the body with his chin up on a tee we're the epitome of making a fool of your opponent.gilgamesh wrote:How'd he make a fool out of Wlad?Wa1nuts wrote:I'm not even a fury fan haha. Wlad looked like absolute sh*t that night I don't dispute that. That doesn't make Fury into Willie Pep just because Wlad was following him around doing f*ck all.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Now you're letting your emotions get the better of you. Why do you think he threw punches against them and not Fury then? Do you really think it was purely down to Klitschko having a bad night or do you think his opponent had something to do with it?gilgamesh wrote:Anybody can beat somebody that doesn't fight you back.
