Of those 7.5 Billion people only about 2000 of them are active Heavyweight Boxers. Tyson Fury was one of the better Heavyweight boxers of his time that's why he got the chance he got, but when you look at the history of the sport, and the history of the Heavyweight Championship, you won't find a Heavyweight Champion that had a less significant run as Champion.
I agree he's been a very poor champion, but out of those 2000 active heavies, how many will or have become world champion, just for the record i wish he would just vanish never to be seen again,i'm sick of the on off comebacks.
I acknowledge that he became World Champion, and that makes him better than most BOXERS. I'll give you that. It doesn't make him better than most...or in my opinion ANY Heavyweight Champion.

Shannon Briggs defended, and lost his title like a man.
The Shannon that got knocked out by Lennox Lewis, knocks out Tyson Fury.

How many times did he defend his belts? Whats' that.... 0?.... Yea, great champion. Got his ass kicked by Big John Mcdermott too, and been put down hard by cruisers. He could also be a drug cheat, who knows.
One more thing, 60 year old Wlad was not interested at all in that fight, and was even retracting punches mid flight on a clear target. Very bizarre performance. He's been a shocking champion and i have lost all patients. His resume is shit too.

Will he get licensed by another board with unresolved issues with the board here hanging over him?

You'll also struggle to find one who dethroned such a long reigning champion in his adopted home country. Fire away lads, 10 years champion minimum, boxer who beat him has to be from a different country.

Nobody with any sense disputes the achievement. What came immediately afterwards and continues too is what people have, rightly so IMO, issue with and I say that as a sympathiser over his doping issues. He deserves better than to have it dragged interminably along, if that is what is happening and there isn't more to it from the Fury camp.

You're too reactionary to be a good mod. I have the mental capacity to disagree with somebody without lashing out at them with bans and stuff like that. I don't know that several posters would.
Authority really goes to some people's heads. I act the same today as I did the days and weeks before I was ever a mod. I'm just one of the fellas on the board. I only wield my Mod powers if I really need to.
Is it really even authority? I'm glad you 'act the same'. It must be difficult as they say power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely

I never understand this. Folk are happy to abuse themselves with drugs but not better themselves with steroids? Every steroid user I've met takes drugs. Why wouldn't Tyson? I go the same way with Mike Tyson.

I mean...it's a slight form of authority I guess. It's certainly something that could be abused if not handled properly, but that would quickly lead to Forum members calling for the Mod powers to be stripped from the sh*t Mod in question. Overzealous mods can quickly suck all the fun and enjoyment out of any forum.

I love Anton
I'm glad it's you, Merc and Mimmy now. I remember when Hurlock became a mod, that was a joke!

I don't even remember this Hurlock character. It was that bad huh?
There's actually a few people who are secret Mods too. Like Undercover cops
I won't tell you who they are though...it's a secret
Though it really wouldn't be all that hard to guess I don't think.

By being the Worst Heavyweight Champion that ever lived?

He called him a f a t sack of sh t in another thread. I'm pretty sure the sack of sh t beat Wlad convincingly but don't see him slating Wlad in that way

For those saying just get a license anywhere else i.e. Ireland it doesn't matter as they are affiliated. Peter Fury said this himself.
The whole issue is UKAD not the BBBofC who are doing their job.
UKAD are not fit for purpose this whole farce proves it.

I'll call him a fat sack of sh*t in this thread too.
He IS a fat sack of sh*t.
He "Beat" Wlad in a staring contest because Wlad didn't come to fight that night. I sh*t on both of them hard after that fight because it's the worst fight I've ever seen. Wlad came back and at least partially redeemed himself by fighting and losing a fantastic battle with Anthony Joshua. Tyson Fury has left us with nothing, but that bad taste in our mouths, and watching his fat ass grow.

Says the man who threatened to ban me for posting the same vid in 2 relevant threads. In my years on Boxrec I’ve never had such a reaction. I’ve always found the modding here excellent until that point.

I recall what you speak of. You were posting the video multiple times, and it seemed spammish to me. I haven't given you guff any other time have I?
Besides you used the key word there "Threatened" to ban you. I didn't ban you, and you got my message, and quit spamming the board with the video. So I'd say that was Mission Accomplished as a mod, and there were no casualties suffered.
All in all I'd say it worked out well.

If it gets the right result, it is.
Anyway, it's better than a knee jerk ban without warning, I think you'll agree
