Oscar winning performance from Direll. He's a proper fanny for someone who fights for a living .Stuarty30 wrote:Dirrell v AA? Bit of a controversial one but looked well suspect at the time.

Yep and that's all it takes.jamamb wrote:seemed like a glancing left landed?
It was standard in that era to take stay down and 8 in those days, you aptly named "chump".thechump wrote:Foreman vs ali, foreman looked up at the corner clear eyes all the way through the count then decided to make a move for it at 9.
That's the first time I've ever seen that. I'm speechlessgibbo wrote:https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xrysDcXajE0
Yeah definitely a dive, I thought so at the time as well. Not predetermined or anything, Hide knew he was going to be badly knocked out so took matters into his own hands to avoid real punishment imo.Espada wrote:Look at the reply of the ending punh that Hide went down from and rolling about about about 15:38 in.boxingknockout wrote:Espada wrote:Herbie Hide took a dive against Vitali Klitschko
If you watch the fight no punch landed
Hahahhahaha I asssume this one is a joke.... otherwise Hide is the best actor to have ever pretended to be kod in history.

Banks had sparked Mitchell the first time around and in the second he had him out on his feet and ready to go again and then just kinda stopped fighting and let Mitchell win on points.
That's how bad Mitchell's chin was. Banks almost KO'd him by accident. I guess a lot of people had a lot invested in him.
Oh was it stsndard was it? To quote Ali, "Is that all you got, chump?" You're of course entitled to your opinion but I'm mystified as to how someone can watch Foreman working hard in jungle heat, while eating a steady diet of fists, and think that the exhausted, demoralised, prostate figure on the canvas took a dive.thechump wrote:Opinions are like Tuan_Jim....i mean an asshole, everyone has got oneTuan_Jim wrote:It was standard in that era to take stay down and 8 in those days, you aptly named "chump".thechump wrote:Foreman vs ali, foreman looked up at the corner clear eyes all the way through the count then decided to make a move for it at 9.if you are the heavyweight champ and you hear the ref cpunt 6,7,8 what do you do? Wait for your corner to tell you to get or do you think "im getting up cause im gonna be counted out and lose my title plus my unbeaten record"? You get the fck up standard or not standard, get up and fight on,foreman was hardly hit all night. If you dont agree then thats your choice its just an opinion of mine ok TJ
ok maybe not dived but quit,I'll hold my hands up and admit I got this one wrong,he didnt dive just quit through exhaustion. You cant really take a dive in round 8Tuan_Jim wrote:To quote Ali, "Is that all you got, chump?"
