I think money on Brant winning the tournament is where it's at. He's unknown to many, including me, but when I've saw little bits of him he looks solid. Decent power, decent speed. Way I see it is, Braehmer's old, Smith's overrated.

Braemer is set for a career in training. He's at the end of his career and looks to be enjoying training other boxers. If it wasn't for this tournament I think he may have retired to focus on training full time. I can't see him going from quitting against Cleverly at light heavyweight to beating Grant at super middleweight.

I think he'll lose and it'll be his last fight. I backed Grant @ 11/8 and the fact hes now the odds on favorite doesn't bode well for Braemer. I'm guessing Braemer is carrying some kind of injury into the fight.

But I can't help thinking with all the weight he has had to lose it's like a bodybuilder in a competition.

They look great and strong but if you speak to any of these guys they will tell you they as weak as a kitten when they are performing as they empty their body's of fluids so the muscles look more defined or ripped.

Think Braehmer will give it a go in front of his hometown fans but his gas tank will empty rapidly if he can't get Brant out of there in 5 or 6

Brant via tko/ko around round 9 is my prediction or Braehmer retires on his stool

Brant comes across well in the build up vids. He could be the dark horse, but he has fought nobody of real note so he may be short at this level.

brant is decent and i like him hear but he did barely beat a guy louis rose who aint that great so im not expecting a ward like, previously untested american outclassing everyone performance in the tourny. but i think hes pretty solid and should beat braehmer and give callum a go in a losing effort.

Think Braehmer pts @ 4/1 is a must bet here, how can a German at home be that big to win a dec when no one wants a draw and Brant may not even be that good ?

Kinda hoping Brant is a brutal revelation and liven the tournament up.

Why is everyone backing Brant. I cant recognise any names on his record and hes ranked #10 in us??? i know JB is getting on and never looks beautiful but????

I think they're more betting against Braehmer than on Brant.

trajectory very important imo. braehmer quit last fight, injured, old, and already moved into training fighters. also moving down after years at 175. brant much younger and fresher and looking improved lately. he was also the number one us amateur at 178 for a while, so not totally out of place at 168.

So far Brant isn't following the Clev blueprint.

1-1 after two

I got it 1-1 even after 2 rounds. Very tactical fight so far. Both rounds have been close. I had the first for Braehmer, and the 2nd for Brant.

Brant would be wise to push the pace against the older Braehmer.

Braehmer takes the 3rd round. Much more accurate with his shots.

2-1 Breahmer

I've got Braehmer 29-28 but it could be 30-27 to either.

Round four probably the clearest round to anyone - Round Braehmer. Good fight, enjoyable.

They both look like they can hurt each other. Brant took 3rd. Braehmer the 4th.

So the Germans probably have it 4-0 Braehmer
