At this time, I would still pick Kovalev, and if something in fact ruined him, that was his own neglect to proper preparation to a fight and alleged drinking.

Up to the Ward fight , he was the best LHW in the last 3 o 4 years not an easy feat.

wasnt ward favourite for both fights? was kov really all that super hyped? deffo not on ggg indestructible level. ppl been talking for years about kov being limited and question his durability due to knockdowns pkus amateur ktfo loss.

Haha that’s just the way it is. He was hardly noticed, from memory, on this forum pre the media interviews and Cleverly fight. He’s a quiet achiever jack, has been. I also see him as a top lh although whether he can be THE top lh is a question mark. Hopefully gets a big fight next.

No, all of the rounds bar a couple were close. Just like the rematch, before the Great Ball Assault.

Yup, he tired out to body shots in the first fight too.. Did you hear him coughing and breathing heavily in the corner after the rounds. He was hurt in that fight.
