Ugonoh is a good fighter. He didn't have a high ranking because he was a prospect who hadn't fought anybody. Breazeale was to be his gateway to the top ten but Breazeale hadn't read the script. It doesn't mean Ugonoh is a poor fighter, he just came up a little short in a great fight that almost went the other way, but instead of giving both boxers credit for taking on a tough opponent and giving us a terrific contest, people prefer to sh*t on the pair of them and then wonder why fighters don't want to risk their records in a meaningful fight. Fickle? ... Boxing fans? ... Shurely shome mishtake.

If Breazeale were to fail a drug test and Molina were to be made WBC mandatory number one contender by default, will any of the wise monkies begin to think this might not be entirely coincidental?

I like Breazeale and I think he would be the best opponent Wilder will have faced. Yes he's slow, yes he doesn't have great technique, but he won't stop coming and will be more resistant than any previous opponent (other than maybe Stiverne and Arreola) to Wilder's right hand. I think he'd be a good test which is why I am skeptical as to whether it ever happens.

Since Whyte was rated three places above Breazeale and won his last fight against a boxer with a very respectable record (one defeat against a top 10 to 20 opponent) one might reasonably expect Whyte to assume the mandatory from Stiverne who loses that status tomorrow, win (as if) or lose, and the only other man rated above him, Ortiz who has now been suspended.

So how have the men in 6th and 12th place managed to leap-frog Whyte?. Granted Whyte didn't look that impressive but he won the fight so how can he be demoted like that? Well I find it hard to escape the obvious conclusion that someone has been whispering in Sulaiman's ear but I must be wrong because that would be like saying the WBC were corrupt and that's unthinkable. Besides, who would be remotely interested in preventing a fight between Wilder and Whyte, and even if someone were so interested, I'm sure Senor Sulaiman couldn't possibly be influenced by such a person, right?

Actually since Breazeale v Molina is tomorrow that scenario can be safely discounted. Even the WBC aren't likely to make Molina their mandatory once he loses tomorrow. I'm grateful for small mercies :D

Well I was going to say that the uproar from boxing fans would make them think twice but I'm kidding myself. The WBC get given a free ride. I think the problem is every boxing fan knows what they are like, how little they can do individually to change it, and basically just shrug their shoulders.

Why not order Breazeale vs. Ruiz? who is ranked #4

How is a #6 vs. #12 a final eliminator..
Because Haymon doens't control Ruiz and Wilder only fights patsies that Haymon controls or controls through his puppet pal Don King. King controls Molina. King now works for Haymon supplying scripted patsies for Wilder. King is probably getting a cut of Wilder's purses.

WBC is just feeding off of the manufactured fraud counterfeit star Wilder. Stiverne, Molina, Brazeale will all follow the scripts and let Wilder win and keep complaining that he is being blocked from fighting the best.
