Khan doing anything to keep his name out there
Yeah.... I’d almost think Khan would catch AIDS if it kept him in the public eye

Just found out Dennis Wyse is in it aswell. I wonder is he scared now or is creating more excuses because Wyse is probably a more scarier proposition than Kell Brook

Khans entire time at 147 is a waste.
Sure he has acheieved a fair bit in his career. But the last 4 years have been a joke.
This is my problem with Khan.
147 has been a hot division for over 4 years now & Khan has managed to avoid all the big beasts & pee away his prime, whilst talking as if he has any relevance whatsoever.

Another 3 weeks of celebs eating kangaroo balls and skimpily dressed z list models with their tits out.
The only time i would waste 3 weeks on this crap would be Karl Pilkington being in it.
I'd watch if Khan and Brook were on
Its called "i'm a celebrity," Brook doesn't qualify...

I don’t think it hurts a boxer too much to do this, it’s nit like they don’t have 2-3 weeks spare when no fights are lined up.
2 - 3 weeks to spare?
He's had one fight in 2 and a half years with nothing lined up.

Khan's not been a full-time boxer for a long time. Can't blame the man for making a living without getting punched in the head...

He surely can't be doing it for the money,he could fight a nobody for much more and probably not get punched in the head much.

The 30 year-old admits he's scared of spiders, snakes and heights, all three of which the ITV series has an abundance of.
Khan's journey begins on TV screens this Sunday night when viewers can vote for celebrities to face a number of 'Bush-Tucker Trials' over the coming days.
Profile (Courtesy of ITV):
Occupation: Boxing Champion
Age: 30
Phobias: Spiders, snakes and heights.
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: People only ever see me in the boxing ring. It will be nice to show people what I'm like away from it.
Role in the Camp: The leader. I will spur people on.
What you will miss the most: My family and my daughter.
Dream Campmate: Drake and Floyd Mayweather would be amazing!
Quotes: “Whenever I see a spider at home, I get my sister to move it. I just don’t deal with it,” he admits. “Will I scream? Yes definitely, but maybe this is the time where I face my phobias!”
“I am most looking forward to getting away from the world, spending time with myself and getting to know some new people."
“I’m not going to watch any of the previous series. I’m going to deal with everything when I get there.”
“With the sport I am in, I do need to be confident. Boxing has made me accept all challenges, never give up and never be scared.”
“To win the series would be just brilliant. I will be King Khan!"

Khan, a former unified light-welterweight world champion, is stepping out of the ring in a bid to be crowned King of the Jungle, but the leading online bookmaker thinks the 30-year-old will be the first to hit the canvas in this year’s show.
The Team GB silver medallist is a relatively unfancied 10/1 shot to be crowned winner of the hit ITV reality show.
Betway’s Alan Alger, said:
“After a turbulent year outside of the ring, we think Amir Khan may struggle to gain the support of the voting public in this year’s I’m A Celeb.
“Khan is in danger of becoming known for his celebrity status, rather than his boxing talent, and we have him as 3/1 favourite to be dealt an early KO blow by being the first to be evicted from this year’s show.”

David Haye said he genuinely gets recognised more for being the guy from I'm a Celebrity than he does from being a boxer.
I think you'd be surprised how popular these programmes are.

Has weirdly grown on me over the years. Wish him well. Would be astonishing if he came back, won a world title and had the last laugh.
