If Wilder would fight anybody but fuk faces Joshua vs Wilder would fill a Football Stadium with 100,000.. Fight Jarrell Miller.. That has the potential to be better than Holyfield-Tyson 1 or Tyson-Douglas.. It's not going to pull the money those fights made -- but it's how you get to get to those kind of fights.. You fight a tough and spectacular fight that's really amazing and the fans want to see more of that.

If Wilder could beat Miller he'd be big.. But he's another Chickenson - afraid of MIller.

Nobody in America will care anything about Wilder unless he fight somebody dangerous... The most dangerous Heavyweights are Joshua, Ortiz, Povetkin, and Miller... I feel they can all beat Wilder who hasn't fought anybody... What Eddie Hearns needs is for Wilder to raise his game with the fans... It will make no difference if you go to 50-0 fighting the caliber of fighter you've been fighting. Nobody will watch.

I agree though Miller is kind of slow and not accurate at times he is very experienced, and has some good power. I'm actually a Big Baby fan and would hope to see him drop Wilder.

Also those that are saying AJ would make less in the US are delusional. Mayweather, GGG, Pacquiao, Cotto, Canelo and much more mainstream fighters I'm certain have made a killing fighting in Las Vegas. The PPV sales alone on this fight would be enormous with the hype this fight will build up a good number of buyers.

Joshua v Wilder isn't going to do well as a PPV in the US right now. and a Casino isn't going to drop large sums on a fight they don't think is going to bring in the big hitters to the tables. Joshua's fights are taking huge money at the live gate right now, he's become a mainstream star in the UK, and is if anything getting bigger all the time.

It may be that Eddie wants to take a routine defence in the states to build his profile, and I think long term that could be a sensible plan, but a fight with Wilder right now, is WAY BIGGER in the UK than it is in the US. Wilder brings virtually nothing to the table financially, as he's just not well known enough to sell seats or PPV's in the US, mainly because quite simply, he hasn't fought anybody of note as yet.

As it stands their is no one in the US that can generate the kind of money to temp Joshua over, but maybe in the next few years someone might emerge who captures the US public's imagination.

A big part of Floyd vs McGregor's success were people deluding themselves into the belief that McGregor was going to beat Floyd. People that don't know sh*t about Boxing is what made that fight a success.

I don't know that Anthony Joshua would catch on in the same way here.

Floyd vs McGregor was damn near the movie "The Great White Hype" come to life. You just needed Floyd to come in with a gut, and to have trained on Ice Cream and TV

Yeah... Ingemar Johansson was an instant sensation... But he had a real Heavyweight Champion to fight.

Ingo was doing commercials and guest appearances all over American TV.. He had the charisma of Jack Dempsey and the fistic ability of Jimmy Braddock -- without the chin.. Braddock also lost his 1st Title Defense -- which he sat on the Title for 2 years before defending it, because you make a lot of money just being the Heavyweight Champion.. He knew his was going to lose if he fought Schmeling or Louis so he took his time.

Johansson snuck up on Patterson when he nailed him with that right hand, which he could throw.. But Patterson was ready in the rematch and rubbermatch.. Those were Patterson's biggest fights because most people liked Ingo.. Joshua is even more likable.. When he comes over here he's going to take the country by storm, just with his refreshing personality.

That is if Wilder could get as big as Patterson -- which from the guys he's fighting and the way he presents himself??? ... He's no Patterson.

Ingo sold zero ppv's.
