Lewis never killed anybody... He hit little 214-pound Mavrovic non-stop for 12 rounds and couldn't put a dent in him... Besides that -- Lewis had a record for being FLATTENED TWICE and Vitali was never even knocked down in his career.

Klitschko would have taken Mavrovic out... Vitali nearly had the vulnerable Lewis knocked out in the first 2 rounds... That's when Lewis slashed his eyelid open with foul blows, immediately to start the 3rd.. With blood gushing into his eyeball Vitali couldn't get a KO shot off...but he was still winning on all scorecards after 6 rounds in a fight that should have gone to a technical decision win for Klitschko. In the rematch Vitali would have smashed Lewis with a vengeance and obliterated him.. Moret wouldn't be the referee.. Lewis knew he would make tons of money in the rematch -- but fear overruled greed and he quit like a coward.
It was clean right hands that opened the cut on Vitali.

An older, poorly conditioned Lennox Lewis still had too much for Vitali. Get over it.

Vitali retired against Byrd because he would have messed up his left shoulder even worse and destroyed his career...

What's worse...having a single loss on your record because of an injury -- or wrecking your shoulder to the point where you can never fight again?

He fought until he was 41 years old, winning a Title Eliminator and 12 straight Heavyweight Championship Fights after the Lewis robbery.

It was Lewis who quit like a coward to avoid the vengeance of Vitali Klitschko.

You're completely blind... Watch the first 20 seconds of the 3rd round.. That's when 95% of the damage was done.. The first right hand Lewis threw in round 3 was clearly a thumb strike... The thumb catches the corner of the left eye in a clockwise twisting motion that opens a nick... A classic thumb strike.

Lewis then grabs Vitali around the neck (holding and hitting is also illegal) and pulls Vitali into his head before slashing him with a palm rake (while he's still holding him around the neck) that illegal blow slashed open 2 cuts on the left eyelid and another cut on the left cheek. Hitting with anything but the end of the fist and holding and hitting are both illegal strikes, so a double foul there.. Both blows are illegal.. Lewis later exacerbated the damage with more illegal palm work on Vitali's face later in the fight.. In fact one palm rake to VItali's face was so flagrant that Moret gives Lewis a quick hand gesture warning for the foul, which Lewis ignores.. But you're not going to check it out.. You're just going to go by your own biased view.. The fight should have gone to the scorecards giving Klitschko a Unanimous Technical Decision Victory.

You don't need to be a genius for this idiot... You have to watch the first 20 seconds of the 3rd round from the right angles... Watch the first 2 rights Lewis threw in that round in slo-mo, see the thumb strike that nicks open Vitali's eye ... and see the holding and hitting palm rake that slashes opens 2 cuts on Vitali's eyelid and one on his cheek.. You don't have research the Bible, ancient Greek literature, or do a thesis on Genghis Khan for this.. All you need is objectivity, decent eyesight, and some intelligence.
