Lomachenko holds all the aces, youth, activity, size and IMO has made evolved into the better pro, I love Rigondeaux but his career frustrated me coz I was a big fan of his but since the Donaire win he career petered out

It's a fascinating one. For prime for prime and p4p I'm in rigo corner...but as people say the youth and weight must be a factor.

I really really want to like Rigo, but he makes it so difficult. Whenever I watch him, it’s hard to fully appreciate his skills because he’s just so negative.

Loma has got to be the favourite - he’s in super form, in his prime, much more active, and with a size advantage to boot. I think it will be a cagey start, but Loma will become more aggressive as the fight wears on and gets a stoppage in the mid-to-late rounds.

I fancy Lomachenko to win wide on points and it'd be a good scalp for him going forward

That fight in the Cotto v Canelo undercard was the final straw for me. He was after another chance got it when networks wouldn't touch him, he put on an absolute stinker of a performance against someone he should outclass with ease.

All the "experts" are raving about this being a classic and all time great matchup and are debating the outcome. I feel like a lunatic as I listen to that on podcasts and think they have it bang wrong. Rigo is a smaller, older, weaker man who I actually think flatters to deceive and has always been overrated anyway. Master technician but not the all time great, P4P maestro he is said to be.

I can only see one winner and I can see Rigo being overwhelmed. Come Monday I may look like a bit of a d!ck

I'm the same as you. I'm convinced Lomachenko is going to destroy Rigo in a few rounds. Rigo has fought 3 rounds in 2 years !!!

If this fight is close or Rigos wins then this is the worse call I've ever made. My current worst is being convinced Haye was going to knock Wlad out

If they were both young and in their primes and in the same weight division, I'd pick Rigo. That's why it's difficult to pick.

Kind of like Calzaghe vs Jones.

Has never really been hurt has he. Mostly flash knockdowns, balance more than anything.

People suggesting Rigo looks slower with the added weight, what do people think?

Hard to tell from that, he was loading up on those shots. He certainly looks strong as a bull in there.

I have to confess I've not seen any rigo fights. But on paper this is a good one. Loma looks awesome but he's up against a proper technician. It's going to be a battle of footwork. If Loma is able to turn rigo as he has everyone else then he should win, that's what separates him from everyone else out there.

I'll be interested to see how much Rigondeaux uses his right hand against a fellow leftie. He's pretty one handed when he boxes against orthodox fighters but I imagine he'll try to bring his jab into play more, especially as he's got longer arms I believe.

What did they weigh? Still fancy Loma for a stoppage! At the least a UD with Rigo going down a couple times.....
