Heading down the pub to watch this with some of the boys shortly. I suspect nearly everybody there will be supporting Browne, even though most have probably never heard of him before.

saw some pics from what looked like the weighin. Tommy seemed to be carrying the weight very well, and as usual Choc looked like a skeleton!!
Tommy's recent form has been good. anyone give him a chance?

I dont recall the McKart fight being PPV. Thought it was an ESPN bout but will stand corrected.

One of the few certainties in boxing is if you hang around long enough it will chew you up and spit you out. Mundine seems hell bent on finding that out the hard way. Whether he falls of the cliff tonight or not we will find out in a few hours time. But l suspect the size advantage he will have over Browne might prove decisive.

Amazingly the Mundine-McKart fight was on Main Event. Not sure how many actually bought it. But l do remember virtually no paying customers turned up to watch the fight and they ended up letting people in for free.

Tommy stuffed-up in 1st round, trying to knock him out in final minute of the round & run out of steam to handle 2nd.
He done well for 2 minutes & then should've got old fart to chase him around the ring & run outta puff for 2nd  .......as Choc does when feeling the pinch.

IMO, Troy vs Dillon was the fight of the night. Both were cut due to AHC, which were well nursed by their corner to last the distance

After all the years Tommy has been in this caper he didn't have the smarts to clinch while Mundine was teeing off on him.

Yup, he also should've done so. I guess he focused way too much on KO win asap.

Choc still waffling on about fighting Horn. Horn is a welterweight champion, Mundine has never fought at welterweight. He is 42 years old.

No wonder that padded out night was not on pay-per-view!

Only two fights went the distance, the opening good 6 round scrap and a 3 rounder fought at 2 minutes per round between 2 novice heavies and the main prelim to boot.

The Argie had the most padded record, and was quickly exposed, and the other title bout ended early due to injury. The less said about the Mundine fight the better.

I think he’s talking at catch weight. He will never make welter as long as his arse points to the ground. I think he said at 157.

Poor card headed by Mundine fighting a cherry pick opponent in order to get back on the winners list after losing to Green. At least it was free.

Most boxing fans (including Green fans) take the Green/Mundine 2 result with a grane of salt. Green knows he lost that fight, as does Mundine. As sad as it is, that fight - along with the Briggs fight - is proof that corruption is still alive in boxing...

Green beating Mundine in the rematch was the worst possible nightmare for Mundine and clearly his fans as well. Green won on points and no amount of denial will ever change that.

It's impossible to take anything the man says seriously. He lost the plot long long ago.
