Proper people should eff this “award” off

Shortlisting people who are involved with things the BBC are pushing, and then including a one legged fella who danced on their dancing show. Female cricketers/footballers etc

Load of old bollocks

The heavyweight champ should look at this trophy as no more than a free night out on the piss and having the craic

I must admit I hadn't heard of Peacock but he did win a gold medal this year. In fact quite a few of them would have been a worthy winner, Adam Peaty and Lewis Hamilton had great years too and they finished well behind Joshua.

Yeah he did but I’m sure there were multiple gold medalists from the GB para team. He was blatantly there for his strictly stuff. He was pretty good at that so I’m told... :OhYes:

Poor Joshua, he only had the might of the Murdoch empire behind him.

Maybe people see through the manufactured personality and prefer something more spontaneous.

To be fair it’s criminal that Farrah has never won a SPOTY award when Zara Phillips has won one, and even worse Andy Murray has won 3 !!!!
Andy Murray, if went to a church fundraiser and won a knitted scarecrow in a tombola he’d get a SPOTY award!

Murray must have a video of the queen masturbating, or evidence Diana was bumped off by Phillip. No other explanation for 3 SPOTY awards and a knighthood

Andy Murray.... a knighthood..... Really?

John Surtees died in March 2017. he remains the only person, ever, to win a world title on 2 wheels and 4. Four time motorcycle world champion , switched from 2 wheels to formula 1 and was F1 champion. No knighthood.
