Get over it froch ward beat you and you cried for a rematch but didnt really want it cause it never happened
He mentioned it a few times after he beat Kessler and Groves. He wanted it in Vegas I believe. It wasn't really pursued though.

Froch wanted the rematch at the City Ground and was clear that was the only place he would agree to it. Ward in turn wouldn't take the fight there. It would have been a cracking fight I think with a big partisan crowd behind him.
Both fighters were pretty complimentary about each other on retirement fwiw.

Ward still wins.

More than likely. Would still loved to have seen it.

Froch loves to dine out on the fact he was a throwback warrior who fought all comers but it's always been swept under the carpet that he blatantly dodged Adonis Stevenson his mandatory for a whole year, which was the reason AS moved up to LHW

Froch never lost a fight England.
Ward never won a fight in Europe.
Froch wins easy

Or maybe negotiations were difficult? Who knows. Stevenson doesn't inspire much confidence given his record of barely fighting at lhw.

I wouldn't put too much into him not fighting Stevenson. AS really isn't that good, plus Froch fought a unification fight and avenged a loss against Kessler in the mean time. I still reckon Stevensons win over Dawson was an utter fluke, the rest of his oppo have been complete puddings.

Don't think there's ever been a greater disparity in how much I liked someone as a fighter but disliked them as a person as there is with Froch. Proper fighter, great to watch but an utter prick out of the ring.
