Harris pulled out on the principle that there was alot more in the kitty for Harris vs Hatton than he was getting. He was angered that the challenger was getting significantly more than him. I do lay the blame with Hatton solely here, why didn't he just say - ok let make it 50:50. The same amount would have been coming out of Warren's pocket, so if he was that hungry for the glory he would have.
Perhaps, Harris also thinks its more of a risk fighting in Britain than it is in Germany, with good justification (ask Sarmiento).
Harris isn´t stupid. he doesn´t fight for half the money with the risk to lose the title. last time he took a close win though Ali was knocked down. there´s is more money in the fight. I´m sure Urkal gets at least 500,000 Euros. there will be 10,000 spectators in the hall and tv shows it live and Harris gets 400,000 $ (350,000 Euros) ? impossible.
