Good call, he is classy as fvck in that interview. I've not heard him talk that much but all I've heard has been classy.

Johnson has always had this win in him, his careers just been absolutely ruined by inactivity, he's a big strong seasoned LHW, when he fights competitive he's a danger for anyone, Buglioni has looked quite comfortable against Summers and Richards but they never had the power or strength to bring out his old habits, the last round KO against Burton was excellent but 12 rounds against Johnson must bring a different mindset as far as nerves as concerned, Johnson obviously would try and impose himself as opposed to outboxing him like the last 175ers

Really impressed with Johnson, he took a few to land a few but that surely will get him a big fight for the European or against a higher level guy, Yarde would be acceptable for my non boxing ass

Wouldn't mind seeing him chin Yarde next up but can't see that happening anytime soon. Warren won't want Yarde anywhere near Johnson for a while yet I wouldn't have thought. Can live in hope though bud

ill at least say its not as laughable as acting like hes terrified of hosea burton or bugsy

but tbf, callum johnson generally looked pretty good i think even before this, and then he did the business as best as could be done really. to me its finally a legit impressive fighter with the britsh 175 belt, i think burton and frank were lucky to be around at the right time and have yarde pursuing a european route

Evan after this breakout win surely even Eddie cant be arsed guiding Johnson to a planned position, i'd rather see Johnson get one of those undeserved shots, Buglioni's sewed things up domestically, Johnson needs to take a massive gamble with the odds against his favour, now or never, I imagine he's about as well equipped as he'll ever be even without a couple of wins against 1 or 2 guys who are good are used to be

i wonder if they could get the ebu champ boesel, i would go with johnson to beat him, johnson looks good for sure but just hasnt moved his career much , so hopefully this win changes that

I thought Johnson would've kicked on when he beat Shihepo for the Commonwealth so i just hope he doesn't suffer anymore drawbacks, if he wants to get the most out of his career then he needs to go for it, the LHW is dangerous but guys like Pavlik and Jack came out of nowhere, even outwith the titlists theres still some great fights and potential wins, Boesel would do well to defend against a guy like Johnson
