Takam would be my pick. Duhaupus got crushed by Povetkin while Takam was competitive. He was also competitive against Joshua.
Surprised that Kuzmin got a lot of backlash from the Mansour fight. Guy was on his way to winning it until it was stopped. Considering how garbage the top 10 is currently, I think a win over Mansour would be enough to get Kuzmin into the top 10.
Takam is already in. Kuzmin is still too unproven to be top 10 with a Mansour win. I think Mansour is ok at a top 20 level. I think it has to be who like you best out of the Hammer-Wach-Duhauppas but I certainly agree the quality is pretty thin beyond the 8 or 9 level.
Damn, I missed that. Out of Hammer, Wach, and Duhaupus, I'd probably say Hammer deserves it the most. Pulled off upsets against Price, Teper, and he didn't get blown out by Povetkin. He was more competitive, at least, than Wach and Duhaupus.

Kuzmin wasn't winning that fight. Nothing really happened. The way it was going, Mansour was getting the better of him.
yes kuzmin was winning , pretty clearly too.

I agree with that and I just re-watched it to make sure I hadn't remembered it wrong - I hadn't.
Kuzmin had Mansour boxing off the back-foot throughout, and looking distinctly uncomfortable after the halfway point in the second round, and again at the start of the third. Mansour was firing back sporadically but at no point before the clash of heads did he even ruffle Kuzmin's feathers. Kuzmin impressed me with his methodical pressure and the calm way he would step back out of range any time Mansour tried to muster an attack, never losing concentration and only rarely allowing Mansour to connect.
For me there was only going to be one winner and I reckon Sergei Kuzmin would be likely to beat quite a few of those rated in the top 15. I admire Amir Mansour as a real warrior, even the fact he went to Russia to fight the local hero is evidence of that, but at his age he isn't getting any better.

If you check the recent thread on top 15 heavyweights, it would be a simple matter to find the forum's answer to your question.

Who the heck knows...that's why he's not in the top 10 yet. His next fight is against that terrifying, very experienced, Ignacio Esparza who celebrates his 41st birthday this year. Oh...did I mention he's a cruiserweight who spent a lot of time at the twinkie factory?!

lf you read my entire post, I really had no one else. The bottom 6 of the top 10 don't even belong there.

You have Tony Bellew ranked above Luis Ortiz. Therefore, you are on crack.

Think we are all forgeting about the White Rhino.
No, in all seriousness, I would say Joyce or Hrgovic. Both of them seen keen on making huge leaps as prospects. Both could well easily be in the mix of the top 10 in 12 to 24 months time.

They updated the list if you scroll up. Ortiz was only removed due to the drugs tests late last year..

From the ones you didn't name?
Tyson Fury
Junlong Zhang
Andy Ruiz Jr
Hughie Fury
Rivas
Spong
Zhilei Zhang
Dubois
Plechko
I also think Luis Ortiz should be named, these guys used to have Stiverne in as well, just like Wilder.

I am inclined to say that Dillian Whyte may be the best of the rest. But we should just wait a week and let the honor go to the Browne - Whyte winner. It is not easy to pick between Whyte, Chisora, Kabayel, Hammer, Kownacki, Wach, Hughie Fury, Ruiz Jr., and Duhaupas. But it is extremely easy to say that the winner of Whyte - Browne is in and Breazeale is out.

Browne after he KOs Whyte.
If Tubby Tyson gets his ass back in the ring after a tune up, he’d clearly also feature.

Whyte is already in top 10.. goes to show how poor the division is..
If/when Browne wins, he enters the top 10

LOL!!! The division is exciting to us only because no more Vitali and Wlad. It's just more competitive. Else...it isn't the best.
