I agree. One thing we can look forward to is Tanzio falling off if there is a Wilder fight, and Tanzio gets busted for Peds......and everyone blames Wilder. :OhYes:
:stop: I have agreed to a colonasscopy prior to Spence v Peterson. :o What more can I do?
Add a prostate exam before each bout
:shame: One colonasscopy = a full year of prostate exams. :bag:

The thing about colonoscopies is that you pretty much get to sleep through them.

You're unaware you're being violated.

But those digital prostate exams. I'd almost rather watch videos of Rigo's entire pro career---in slow motion---than be subjected to that.

I've considered running a paid competition within the current one.

Basically, a one-time pay in.. If you pay in, you can win prizes. If you don't, you don't.

I just didn't really want to be the escrow and the organizer.
I don't believe it would be hard to monitor. Does the site have a paypal account attached to it? Or do you have one JCS?

You could run the game as normal, but anybody that fancies having a small wager on it, pays say £5 or £10 in before the first fight of the season and then the money is held in the paypal account until the end of the season and then winners are paid accordingly.

Could pay out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd (of the people who paid money at the start of the campaign).

No need for seperate tables or anything, maybe just a mark next to each username in the table who has paid to play for money so you can see who you are competing against.

Just an idea anyhow, i'm sure playing for fun will be just as entertaining but i imagine there is quite a few of us who would enjoy playing for money as well, there's certainly enough people that post in the betting thread!
It was gonna be a mark on the board.. yes, the idea was $20 USD. Prizes for top 3 (and I was going to take a small cut for my time, any fees, etc)... something like 50% to #1, 25% to #2, 10% to #3 and I'd take 15%

I just didn't want to get into a pissing match over scoring, which fights were selected, etc... plus I had preferred some other member on the forum acted as the escrow as it related to the financial part. I'm in the US and in US.. gambling = bad, bad unless in certain realms. Some idiot reports me to PayPal and I could be really fucked.
I don't mind collecting the money if that is what would be preferred.

Obviously i'm a relative newbie to the site so understand if people wouldn't want me to be the one collecting.

If people trust somebody with more posts etc then that's fine, no problem with them doing it.

Obviously you would still get your 15% for all your organising.

As for people complaining about the selected fights, it's tough shit, the game would play out the same way as normal with just the small side bet added for a bit of extra interest.

Otherwise the playing field is not level.
:TU: My blood tests are mañana. Furthermore, to assure that my new name does NOT become PEDzio, I have agreed to have a colonasscopy performed on January 19, the day before Spence v Peterson. :box:
How did that colonoscopy go?

Bet you can't wait for your next one in 10 years.
