Talk of him fighting the likes of Spence and even Garcia is simply ridiculous. Khan has barely been a part time fighter for the past 4 years or so. This has car crash written all over it.
It may be ridiculous in terms of measuring ability but Khan has a name which will be used for one big cash out, probably against Brook but possibly one of those you mentioned. Hearn's job is to find suitable light hitting opponents to make Khan look good in this comeback before reality bites and Amir hangs up the gloves.

Hopefully Sky and allegedly use common sense and talk about running orders so fans can watch both. Eddie could easily put on Khan earlier as he has a load of Liverpool fighters that could go at the end of the card.

Talk of Khan taking on Prescott. Can't see it personally but it would make sense for a comeback fight plus he's shot to shít nowadays.

If I was in charge of Khans three fights I'd go with

John Molina Jr in April

Shawn Porter in August/September

And assuming he wins........

Well if he beats Porter he'll have a load of doors open to him.

Wouldn't you rather see him fight a welterweight first

I get your point but I'm thinking as a matchmaker. Putting him up against a vulnerable, big punching, charismatic Molina would be a great selling point from a promoters angle.

Otherwise I would say Jesse Vargas but I think Jesse is after a title shot.

Molina more realistic.

Hearn is all about the money and this move makes money for all involved as like him or loathe him people will pay to see Khan as he is exciting and unpredictable.

Its ultimately building to a Brook cash out fight for fight 3 out of the deal (as its the biggest money fight for both Khan and Brook at this point in their career). Both will have a gradual step up in opponent until then as 'warm ups' - possibly with a summer double header.

Personally I am intrigued to see what Khan still has left - his talent has never been in doubt but hopefully he has matured and his knack of forgetting a game plan and getting into a street fight has gone.

he trades it out when hes been hit and rocked. hes not a good enough boxer to consisently avoid that at a high level

Wouldn’t be worst comeback fight - Burns hard as nails and likely to take him 12 rounds ?

Ricky Burn' s last fight was at lightweight.
He's 34 years old and lost his last 2 fights.
He has zero power but has a good chin.
This fight sucks.
So I am nearly positive this is Khans next opponent. It's a joke

Amir Khan - Back in Business: First title bout added to April 21 bill

Tommy Coyle will challenge Sean 'Masher' Dodd for the Commonwealth lightweight title on April 21 as part of Amir Khan's comeback bill in Liverpool.

You're miles off, it's Phil LoGreco.

Yip that's the way it's looking. Apparently he has to burst his balls getting back down to 147 as well! Pretty poor. I wouldn't have been too disappointed with Lo Greco as an opponent if Khan took him as he was, but making the guy boil down is a bitch move!

Khan should win this fight. Likely will be a full 12 rounder. But his workrate should be enough. Being out for 2 years. Not a bad opponent in all fairness.
