I don’t think Brook fancies top level boxing anymore.
I can’t see him winning a title at 154.
Khan is naturally on the slide. Fighters peak at different times and his peak was obviously during his LWW reign.
One think about Khan is he’s never lost his confidence. He genuinely believes he’s the best WW in the world which isn’t a bad thing.
He is naturally gifted and in the ring he’s got a decent IQ.
Khan gives any WW without a big punch a good fight.
Reality I can’t see either winning a world title again but I can see Khan putting in a good high class performance along the way.

Brooks had plenty of time off inbetween those 2 defeats. Khan has been far too inactive and there's more than a possibility he will lose his next fight he's looked done since the Diaz fight.
I take it you didn't see Khan vs. Alexander
Alexander ?? Really......... Has been done for years. Chris Algiri fight showed where Khan is and that was a couple of years ago

Not sure where the idea has come from that being knocked spark out isn’t detrimental to ‘wear & tear’?

I think it's preferable to sustained beatings.

agree. being concussed like that, even with one shot, can have big long term damages

When this fight was first mentioned I saw Khan as a clear winner in a competitive fight.
A lot has happened since then but I would probably still give Khan the edge, though it is far from a walkover, maybe 55-45 in Khans favour.
They have both had good careers, though Khan has been at a higher level for a longer period of time and both have had their battles and damaging defeats.
What I do find interesting, is that people talk about Khan having a glass chin in the same thread as others talk about him taking a careers worth of heavy shots in a single round, 11 round beatings etc.
Whatever the outcome it is a contest I would like to see and presumably the deal is that fight 3 with Matchroom is Brook.

I would say Brook.
With Khan's style, he relies on speed, your speed decreases as you get older and no being active - he needs to protect his chin as we're all aware how bad it is, I think the big KO from Canelo has done more damaged than the two Brook defeats.

I've always felt that Khan isn't chinny in the true sense, when he gets ko'd its always a big damaging punch that starts it. His problem is he ships far too many heavy shots, once he gets tagged he goes to war and keeps getting tagged some more. He's more stupid than chinny in my opinion, or maybe he just loses his mind after a heavy shot but whenever he's been stopped or shaken its usually a solid shot thats done it.

light hitting limond had him seriously hurt
prescott rocked him with a jab in the first minute ffs then brutally ko'd shortly after. prescott didnt stop anyone else decent even when he landed good shots
light hitting chris algeri rocked him too, not after some prolonged war
he was put on his ass by one shot from julio diaz, not some 5 punch combo
danny garcia doesnt stop anyone else at that level in 4 or under
hes been down and hurt many many times and kod in 6 or under in 3 of 4 losses. several guys with little or average power have hurt him. hes been brutally kod. the chin is poor

The shot Limond hurt him with wasn't even full on the knuckles if I remember correctly. It kinda pawed him. The fuckin ref forgot how to count to ten conveniently there as well for a second!
Gomez also had him down and going as well didn't he?

Chinny to me is when you get ko'd from a seemingly innocuous shot more than once. Khan's stoppage defeats have all come after sustaining serious power shots flush; Prescott landed several power shots flush on Khan, Garcia did the same then Canelo uncorked a right hand that would have put most 154-pounders to sleep. These were all damaging punches in every sense of the word.

Algieri, Diaz, Gomez, Limond etc were all dealt with by Khan eventually and the Maidana win gets even better with time, lots of lower weight fighters often suffer knockdowns even in victory, Khan sometimes gets careless and takes punches he could or should avoid. It doesn't matter that Prescott didn't stop anyone else of note, the simple fact is that he teed off multiple power shots on Khan when they met and his record going into that contest suggested he was a big puncher with an impressive ko percentage. Garcia also caught Khan with a sickening left hook below the ear that completely disorientated him, he probably took too many shots after that and the fight should have been stopped earlier for me but he is brave and clearly not a quitter. The Canelo ko was sickening but predictable and Khan in that bout was giving away far too much weight on the night, you really can't use that particular ko as evidence of being chinny.
Khan does not possess a granite chin and I never inferred that he did but in my opinion he isn't what I would class as chinny, He may a bit stupid or too brave for his own good though! For what its worth I think Brook beats him like Canelo did and I'm certainly not a fan boy of Khan, he's pissed away a lot of his career chasing Floyd/Manny but he's only ever been stopped in 3 fights, twice when he took serious bombardments and once where he walked onto a sledgehammer right hand from an elite super-welter

We have very different definitions of chinny then, because I can’t think of anyone chinnier than Khan apart from Pricey.

Do you think Audley Harrison was chinny? genuine question. I think he and Price are similar but is it down to sheer panic under attack or genuine chin defects?
Prince Naz got dropped a few times but was never accused of being lacking in the whiskers department, Dave McAuley was another

Naz was dropped, but never really looked hurt. Khan looks hurt when he takes a jab.

I think they both got plenty left "in the tank" the question is how much does Brook have left in his orbital bones?

It will be interesting to see how Kell Brook does at Light-Middleweight as he was starting to look tight at the weight. So it be interesting to see how he looks in terms of speed and power, against a natural 11 stoner.

Of course Khan is Chinny.
Some of the wobbles and knockdowns he’s had have been by non-punchers.
He’s lucky enough to be skilled and talented and can sometimes still scrape the win.
Khan and fans saying he isn’t chinny reminds me of Whitney and her fans saying she’s never been a crackhead.

Hamed got dropped because of poor balance due to being such an unorthodox fighter that relied purely on his athleticism & demonic power.
Amir Khan is definitely chinny, having endured a few wobbles & some count-outs.

khan got wobbelled from a jab. hes been seriously hurt many times at every stage of his career and stopped multiple times, hamed wasnt
price was down 3.2 billion times in the ams and has been ktfo early multiple times as a pro. tony thompson doesnt score early ktfos over anyone else of note
some ppl just seem to believe no one is really chinny and its all defense or mental. i disagree

It only went two rounds, so the stamina question remains unanswered. But from watching it back he looked faster and sharper than he did against Errol Spence.
