browne did very well to come back from that, he looked gone and seemed only a few more shots from being stopped

browne was extremely rattled at the press conference.

i hope he is more composed on fight night or he is in big trouble.

Browne has a chance and Whyte's hubris kicks in, he'll get his ass kicked in! Go Browne...6th round KO.

Chagaev knocked Browne down in round 6.

Scott Belshaw knocked Browne down in round 1.

There's two for you.

Malcolm Bulner saw it as a knockdown. Sent Belshaw to the neutral corner and applied a count to Browne. I'll post the video of it tomorrow.

You claimed Browne had never been down before. Blatantly incorrect because he was not only down against Belshaw, the entire world saw him go down against Chagaev. I can't believe any Aussie who follows boxing wouldn't be aware of that one.

But plainly you would rather make excuses than accept you were wrong

will he say he was wrong though? lol.

i'm worried browne will be outboxed easily.

i hope he smashes whyte though cause it will create a bit of a buzz if he annihilate him.

i think whyte will win but whytes hardly been impressive and was nearly kod by chisora (i had chis winning) and hurt whenever helenius was qctually punching early on

whytes a lot younger and has a bit more to him but is hardly very skilled of a boxer, so i can see browne landing somebig shots

2 rounds in 2 years could leave browne very rusty

Chagaev put Browne flat on his back in the 6th round,

Knockdown occurs 2 minutes into the video, with 40 seconds remaining in round 6 :

The knockdown Browne suffered against Chagaev is posted above and here is the Belshaw one. Click on the link and the knockdown occurs 12 minutes into the video :

As you will see in the video, referee Malcolm Bulner saw it as a knockdown. He sent Belshaw to the neutral corner and applied a count to Browne, who offered no protest about Bulner applying a count.

Hard to see Browne winning this with such a poor preparation. Think he'll need to land something fairly early or Whyte will dominate.

Main event scheduled to be next up. I think all the prelims have ended in stoppages. Johnson-Buglioni a 1st rounder. Hope Browne and Whyte are ready.

i'm worried browne will be outboxed easily.

this was my prediction and unfortunately it was spot on.

i will say too that browne was in terrible physical shape in this fight and he was much much slower than in the chagaev fight.

This is not a good read and the photo says it all, as this is the end of the section for Lucas Browne's big fight ambitions:

The New Age Boxing podcast are claiming Lucas Browne was knocked out cold during his final sparring session prior to fighting Dillian Whyte.

Well, definitely wasn't Browne's night that's for sure.

If it's worth it, he could probably still fight lower-tier fighters for some pocket money. But that was huge and it's probably not worth it anymore for him.
