I don't know all the particulars but in one of the short documentaries about Jerry Quarry online Bert Sugar talks about how Corey was hoodwinked into doing this fight under the pretense it was a movie.

It was his last registered pro fight. This was before the ALI ACT and you could pretty much put a show on anywhere, with anyone at any time. He was suckered into believing it was all for a movie and then the guy unloaded on Quarry. Bert Sugar talks about it in a documentary on YouTube about Quarry.

I think this is a little off. They told Quarry if his comeback was successful, they may make a movie out of his life. That doesn't mean Quarry thought the fight was a movie.

Caractacus: Did you ever see the footage of Bob Hazleton knocking out Bob Foster ? It on youtube. Maybe you could put it on a thread-it was reputed to be a dive by the famed writer Mike Marley and it sure looks like one to me.

BTW when I was first watching that video at 1:45, I thought
"Whats Scott LeDoux doing in this ?
then I noticed the re-ceding hair-line, and didnt remember LeDoux as ever having one.
BTW after Bob Foster turned 38 he fought twice more and was knocked out both times
( the last one by Bob Hazelton)
