I understand very well thanks. He beat Alex Lezine, 27, who lost in the Olympic semi-final in 1996 to the eventual winner of the gold, one Vladimir Klitschko.

He beat a tough Ukrainian called Oleksi Mazekin who I know very little about.

He also beat Paolo Vidoz by a massive margin of 16 points and forced Vidoz to take at least 2 standing counts if I remember correctly. Vidoz is now a solid pro.

In the final he beat a little known Kazakh but the fact he was in the final suggests he had beaten some solid opponents on the way. He too was demolished.

If you underestimate the level of that achievement then you quite clearly don't understand boxing.

He's hardly overhyped - most people don't like him.

I'd hardly call the likes of previously undefeated Dutch heavweight champion Hersisia, former British and Commonwealth champion Francis and previously undefeated Polish heavyweight champion Bonin chickenshit.

Lezin was well on his way to putting Audley out of the Olympics until that farcical stoppage. And I think it's commonly accepted that Paulo Vidoz is going absolutely nowhere.

Harrison has been a pro for 3 years and hasn't even fought a top domestic rival or a continental equivalent. He doesn't even look impressive beating these punchbags half the time.

But hey sorry for not accepting the bilge about him becoming world no.1.

The reason he hasn't fought a top domestic rival is because they have now all signed for SN and negotiations have proved difficult.

I thought he looked impressive beating Hersisia and Bonin although I admit the Francis match could have been better. However, he had never been 12 rounds before than so it was important to pace himself to a comfortable victory.

i never argued with old amateur fights, that´s ridiculuos. Sam-Williams was last year.

Harrison makes one step forward and three steps back. please realize it. if he doesn´t even fight a top 30-guy like Sam next year, his career goes to nowhere.
