No, David. Even if your figures are a bit out, you're right in principle. The sport will wither if it doesn't have a terrestrial outlet.

The Beebs coverage has been well welcome. However I wish that they could do something about Bunce and Woodhall.

On last Fridays card they both looked like guests at the end of a wedding with ties off, open necked shirts and jackets.

What has Bunce done to become an authority on boxing anyway - does writing a few totally inaccurate articles about Lennox Lewis make you an authority on the sport

Is there somewhere you can find out the viewer ratings?

Compared to other sports boxing is not shown a great deal. But i would like to know the ratings of someother sports which are shown alot on BBC. The likes of horse racing and jumping, golf and indoor bowels.

Apart from the major tournaments they still show alot of crap on the BBC, maybe the boxing is on to late in the night. Better to have delayed Boxing at a decent time to get more viewers, than to show it so late at night.

It won't be the end of BBC, but they may stop showing boxing.

dont know about that, Eastenders is getting terrible figures

not surprising. Ian Beale is the only thing keeping Eastenders on TV. he's class.

On the beeb website they having Witter against TBA on their upcoming bouts. Looks like they are going to maybe stick to showing highlights of Hennessey shows?? maybe in the hope that froch will be something big (no chance imo) and Eastman gets to fight Taylor.
