Here's mine
1. Vasyl Lomachenko
2. Terence Crawford
3. Gennady Golovkin
4. Saul "Canelo" Alvarez
5. Mikey Garcia
6. Oleksandr Usyk
7. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai
8. Sergey Kovalev
9. Errol Spence Jr.
10. Naoya Inoue
Usyk in action today in just a few short hours
Hard to justify the inclusion of Eubank or Gassiev I'd say. I certainly see the potential in those guys, but they just don't have the high level wins yet to justify a P4P ranking. I don't think I'd have those guys in my Top 15 or 20.
Other than that everything seems reasonable except I wouldn't have Joshua so high, though I don't object to him being included necessarily. Spence I don't think should be among the best of the best just yet though I don't doubt he'll get there, and you're not alone in wanting to rank him far above and beyond what he's actually achieved. It seems the entire Boxing community is in a hurry to anoint this kid the King of the World.
No Joshua? Gilgamesh that cuts us British deep.. plus agree about Eubanks he shouldn't be anywhere near a p4p list BJ head and shoulders above him imho..
I have Joshua as the #1 Heavyweight right now, but I don't think he has the resume just yet to be Top 10. A few more title defenses against ranked contenders will get him there though, and obviously a fight between he and Wilder would be a major boost to the winner.
I believe Joshua is a great Heavyweight, but I think he has some significant flaws in his game that can still be taken advantage of. I don't know if any of the current crop of Heavies are capable of it though, and I do expect Joshua will keep getting better with each passing fight for a little while at least. He's still improving.
Fair enough I can deal with that opinion on AJ... Like you have already mentioned the hw div isn't blessed with an array of talent that can either expliot AJ's weaknesses or can make a resume look impressive.. If I could change one flaw of AJ id like to see some of that muscle mass reduced.. He reminds me of a more skillful frank bruno... However there maybe one fighter that'll give AJ all sorts of problems and that is Fury...

I think the top 3 are nailed on in any order. Then Canelo and Sor Rungivsai are interchangeable, I gave the edge to Canelo for the depth of his resume, but Sor Rungivsai has the 2 best wins to be fair, if he beats Estrada I'll probably move him to #4. Inoue is sitting solidly at #6, hasn't quite done enough to crack the top 5 but comfortably clear of 7-10.
Garcia, Spence, Kovalev and Usyk are also interchangeable for me, I wouldn't argue with any order for those 4. I can see why some people would drop Kovalev out but I just don't think any of the 10-15 ranked guys have done enough to budge him, considering he was consensus top 5 before the Ward fights. I went for Mikey and Kovalev over Spence and Usyk as their resumes are deeper (Mikey over Kovalev because he didn't lose 2 fights recently). Then went with Usyk over Spence as Glowacki, Mchunu, Hunter, Huck and Briedis beats Peterson, Brook, Bundu, Algieri and van Heerden IMO.
I suppose the likes of Thurman are on the edge (Chaves, Guerrero, Collazo, Porter and Garcia are a good top 5 wins) but his inactivity is stopping him getting the momentum to displace the fighters above him.

Winning the title in the Worst fight in the history of the sport, and then proceeding to lose it without ever making a single defense of it because you're a fat, lazy slob.
Yeah...you can say Fury doesn't impress me. Sorry if that is unfathomable to you, but I've been watching this sport for a long time, and this ain't the way Champions or Professionals do things.

This is probably the best p4p list I've seen on this site. Only have a few minor gripes. I think Inoue should be higher than Garcia. Also, I don't think Usyk belongs in the list
yet. I'd have Santa Cruz and Juan Francisco Estrada lining up 9-10.
I'd probably have:
1. Golovkin
2. Canelo
3. Lomachenko
4. Crawford
5. Sor Rungvisai
6. Kovalev
7. Inoue
8. Santa Cruz
9. Estrada
10. Mikey
Usyk bounces up ahead of Inoue if he beat Briedis. Everyone moves down and Mikey is out of the p4p list until someone loses or he gets a win over Prograis or Taylor (I don't think he's moving back down to 135).
Santa Cruz has never struck me as a P4P talent. He's a grinder. Long and rangy, and pretty tough, but too flawed to be P4P for me from what I've seen.
I suppose that's the fun of these rankings though is the minor disagreements you'd have about who you'd place where and why.
He's beaten the names he's fought very clear.
Even in defeat, his loss against Frampton was controversial. His avenging of that loss wasn't, and he defeated Frampton clear.
How so? I thought it was a close fight that Frampton edged.

"The worst fight in the history of the sport" - this is an exaggeration, obviously.
I do not like TF's behaviour, for me he is a half-crazy man, but he is good for boxing, generaly speaking (some people around me, never being boxing fans, speaking about a "fool who toyed with Wladimir").....Can you imagine the fight Joshua-Fury ?
It would be a spectacle, more than Lewis-V. Klitschko or M. Tyson-Holyfield.

It might not be the worst fight in the sports entire history, but it's the worst fight I've ever seen, and I've seen thousands of them.

it was worse. it was literally all backhanded jabs and totally uncompetitive. and neither one had the power to really make you think something might happen. at least wlad landed a good right and a headbutt, and fury slapped him with a left hook one time.

I agree with Gilgamesh about this match, but considering only the highest level fights, I might list at least ten fights. For example : Lara - Alvarez, Klitschko-Ibragimov, Mayweather-Pacquiao.....Bernard Hopkins (x 10), Rigo........
Personally, I tried three times to wach Lara-Canelo on YouTube, and I have never seen more than four rounds....

Lara vs Alvarez wasn't a barnburner, but it personally didn't bore me at the time. I've never taken the time to rewatch it though, and I don't expect I ever will. I know I don't get it at all when people pretend Lara was robbed there.
Klitschko vs Ibragimov was definitely garbage
I may be one of the few people that wasn't bored by B-Hop's fights. I mean he wasn't thrilling, but I found it interesting to see old man Hopkins able to outbox so many of these young guys.
Juan Manuel Marquez vs Derrick Gainer held the title of worst fight I ever saw for a while there. It was pretty awful.

I think we are off topic....Again, I am waiting for Tyson Fury's great comeback on the top. Boxing is much more interesting sport with Fury..........

I didn't say Wilder WOULD beat AJ. He's just the one guy that could. I agree he's not very skillful, but he can hit. If he gets there with his punch it could be enough. Fury isn't a dedicated enough athlete to be a threat to AJ or Wilder.

Really? Honestly?
Since Canelo really took it to Golovkin over the final 2 rounds, I don't see any plausible explanation for your conclusion.
There's a better chance Canelo would have scored the KO if it was a 15 round bout.
Golovkin couldn't have stopped Canelo if he slipped the Mexican those same drugs that disabled Foreman in Zaire and Klitschko against Brewster.
