But JCC Jr over Vera was the worst recent one I can remember.

Chavez barely tried to do anything but complain to ref.
I think I had that one 97-93 Vera. He definitely deserved the win in the 1st fight.

I was happy when Bradley won because I am not a fan of Pacquiao but Pac was seriously robbed that night.
Funny but I actually didn t think Pac-Horn was that bad. I am definitely in the minority but Horn started and ended most of the exchanges even if he whiffed on a lot of shots.

I remember being surprised by the punch stats because I thought Horn was more effective than the numbers showed.

For the Horn fight I had Pacquiao winning by 2 rounds, so yes that's another controversial fight for me.

I also think it stings more when they job a journeyman. Vera deserved to retire with that W on his resume.

bold - take that one out of it.
It was close, if I would enforced to judge it would be 114-113 Golovkin....Tommorrow, I might think differently.............

A close fight is not a robbery. Even if you think it should've went the other way. If it was close enough to have reasonably gone either way then it's not a robbery.

I missed your top comment. Just seems odd to have included them at all in this thread when the first word is "Worst", but yeah my bad. We're on the same page on this pretty much then it would seem, and I think I had the same score as you in the GGG vs Jacobs fight.

Nice ! You are younger, and your English is better, but we agree.....
My advantage : I can remember Ali vs. Frazier/Foreman/Norton......... :TU:

I've seen those fights, but I didn't get to see them Live as they happened. I'm sure that was awesome, and a hell of a time to be a Boxing fan.

I was a little child (born 1965) but I can remember. Interesting, we had only 2 tv channels, but it was free, absolutely free, and 90 % persons had been watching these fights, believe it or not............Recently, perhaps 20 % watching (mainly HW fights) and it is free (or extremely cheap) again......

chisora vs helenius was an awful robbery. you have to be an awful judge to think helenius did anything to come close to deserving the win. big rob was useless

Trying to rank the robberies from bad to worse is bit like trying to rank turds by how bad they smell

Some of the biggest ones recently...

GGG - Canelo
Ward - Kovalev... Both of them
Pac - Bradley

Lesser ones...

Chisora - Whyte
Parker - Ruiz

Both were close but clear and given to the "A side" even thou they really lost.

Ward-Kovalev 2 has been the different case. There were low blows, but ref might deducted the point from Ward, give Kovalev time to recover and continue the fight. Ward would have won, anyway, Kovalev has been finished (it is my personal opinion, right or wrong)....................

That cross eyed kid Tevin recently got really screwed against some oriental fighter.
Worst recent dec I seen. Also GGG got screwed bad against Canelo

Not top level but Renald Garrido vs Fatih Keles (twice) were fairly dodgy decisions.

Agree 100%. Maybe not the worst but very bad and fresh in the mind, I'd cast my vote for Golovkin v Alvarez.

Santa Cruz - Casamayor.
I think I gave Santa Cruz 11 rounds, plus a knockdown.

I remember, on here, that people were live betting on the fight. Apparently, they’d cocked up the odds and had it about evens going into the last round.
Some poster was whacking great sums of money on it. It made for horrendous reading when the decision was read out.

Well no we will never know.

Only thing we have is the stoppage on low blows. Clearly shown in slow motion. The fact that the decision was not changed after the fight just goes to show how crooked this game really is

There's the few on the list that were inevitable where people still find it difficult to let go. Ggg v Canelo for instance. regardless whether you scored Ggg up 3 to 4 rounds makes no differeronce each round was difficult to score for either.. It was a close fight no injustice only the 118 110 card. The OP has asked for robbery fights like Bradley v pac or betran v burns not close fights like the above and fights like brooks v porter...

You must not watch many fights... That wasn't even a bad decision. It was a close fight.. and the wrong guy didn't win.. it was a draw.

Ward-Kovalev was FAR worse. As was Bradley-Pacquiao. As were many others.

Christ, how about Santa Cruz-Casamayor?
