I'm looking forward to this one, I'd say Askin starts a favourite but not by much, it depends if he can stick to his boxing and not get drawn into a fight with Simmons, we tend to get entertaining British Cruiser fights, it might not be the prettiest entertainment but should be a good one

Yea askin is a talent

Simmons can definitely win this, not judging by the poll though. Simmons and Wadi in the same must be painful for Simmons there's real hatred there

i like watching both of them . if simmons is spot on he is capable of winning this,should be a good watch whoever wins .

askins looking studly lately, should move onto going for the euro, maybe after another defense to get the belt outright

Gutted for Simmons, I would've loved to have seen him win the British but you just knew he wasn't getting up from that bodyshot, Askin hit him with the same shot a couple times before which Simmons took well to be fair, the finisher landed right in the sweet spot, sickener

Another great performance from Askin though, he boxed well, landed some cracking uppercuts as well

He looked pretty big for 14 odd stone.

That was a nice body shot to end the fight. I thought Simmons would of put up more of a challenge if I'm being honest.

I don't think we will see Simmons again. He's taking over his old gym. Congrats Askin and best of luck to Simmons if he decides to retire, which I think he will.
