They said he "quit" right after it. Later he came back after agreeing not to talk on the air about their corruption. I also remember how Foreman was outraged over the monkey business of the boxing bosses' money launderer and sometime referee Randy Neuman. Foreman back then was the only boxing announcer worth listening to. Now I rather watch boxing on foreign language stations I can't understand so I don't have to listening to the tv talking heads babbling on inanely.

His gas tank was empty and he was knocked out in the end, so, if he was even leading actually, it doesn't matter right now.

So then Clay got an additional 20 seconds to recover, similar to what the ref's shenanigans bought Wilder. Twenty seconds is a very long time at such critical times in a fight. Even one second is. Cooper should have retroactively been declared the winner, and Ortiz-Wilder NC.

Angelo Dundee was the biggest bullshitt artist ever.... He didn't change any glove... Ali didn't get extra time to recover... When YouTube came out Dundee was forced to change his story.... "No we didn't change the glove or get extra time."

The minute rest was over and the bell rang with Dundee still in the ring... He had to hustle to get out... In fact you hear the announcer say "And I think Clay has got a torn glove... No, it seems to be all right and out they come for round 5."

Like they didn't see this coming :s, he had to KO him, otherwise you lose, Wilder kept standing, so the old men lost, simple as that. Wilder performed way above my expectations.

Yup, skinny Bambi legs and all, he won. It is amazing he won actually because he had ducked Povetkin and somehow got Povetkin and Ortiz to fail drug tests. He actually showed up.

Povetkin actually didn't fail, the lab failed and got suspended for a reason. Too bad Wilder didn't dare to face him when he was just 2 years after his prime. This costed Povetkin about 80 milion, while Wilder was busy ruining the sport. Thank god AJ became a boxing pro.

It's obvious that Povetkin took Meldonium when it was allowed, many many months before it.
Even right now, the same value is allowed again, Wada/Vada admits that they didn't have a clue what they where doing and changed their own rules. I don't care about how retarded and unfair the American judges are, Nelson Mandela has also been put in prison for ages. Povetkin is like the Nelson Mandela of boxing.

Ridiculous. The ref doesn't jump in at a critical moment during a round when one fighter is suddenly in trouble and rubber legged... to give him a medical checkup to make sure he's OK! That's the whole object of boxing, to do that to your opponent! That's totally indefensible. That's crazy. How can you defend that? Imagine if refs got in the habit of doing that when every fighter got hit hard and wobbled!

That's the thing about boxing - countless times you see crooked crap going down , blatant, right in your face, it's continuous, over and over - and someone will yell about it for five minutes...and that's the end of it! It just vanishes from the news, swept under the rug! Occasionally it goes to some boxing commission, which amounts to the same thing.

Yes, it was crazy (and very fishy) move, but in all fairness to referee, it looked more like ringside doctor called that break. Referee had to listen to him, because doctor could have sought something in Wilder that bothered him.

Then that docter should have stopped the fight and declare Ortiz to be the winner.
I hope that Povetkin, the Nelson Mandela of boxing will finally receive some justice and that Wilder, the Robert Ford of boxing will get what he deserves.
