Re: Who would you say are the top 15 current heavyweights in ranked order?

Unfortunately, Alexander Povetkin is far too small, too tiny and too short to qualify among REAL SUPER HEAVYWEIGHTS in the top 10. I only ranked top REAL SUPER HEAVYWEIGHTS that are skilled and / or athletic in the top 10. They must at bare minimum be 6 foot 4 inches to qualify as one and must be athletic and / or skilled.tiny_acres wrote: ↑13 Mar 2018, 00:27Where is PovetkinLuis Fernando12 wrote: ↑12 Mar 2018, 20:39 1) Tyson Fury

6. Miller
7. Pulev

Wilder was scheduled to fight Pov but his handlers nixed it on the sly. They had no intention of losing their cash cow to a big bad Russian who they were quite sure would beat him. He never even went to Russia to prep for the fight as fighters always do. Than at the last minute they trotted out Doc Goodman and her mobbed up Las Vegas drug crew to conjure up a spurious drug charge against the Russian to lend cover to the scenario, and of course the controlled US media ran with the story. So that is why I put Povetkin over Wilder. Also, as I previously said, I think that if the boxing commission was on the level the Wilder-Ortiz fight should be declared no contest because of the ref's shenanigans at the critical point in the fight giving the house fighter extra time to recover, and an immediate rematch ordered. Boxing commissions on the level? Funny joke. Almost as funny as anything in Las Vegas being on the level!

this is the best listHeretic wrote: ↑13 Mar 2018, 04:55 Going by who they have beaten...
1. Joshua

3. Pulev

8. Miller
9. Breazeale
10. Hammer

13. Duhaupas
14. Ruiz
15. H. Fury
Its pretty hard to rank 10-15 as the quality really drops around that mark.
He gassed out pretty early in that one, maybe some altitude training and a different trainer, Kevin Barry is not a world level guy.
Pulev above Wilder ??Lennox wrote: ↑13 Mar 2018, 15:18this is the best listHeretic wrote: ↑13 Mar 2018, 04:55 Going by who they have beaten...

So your list on on potential rather than results?
Sorry Mate, not having a pop but you have Ugonoh ranked one below the fella that knocked him out but Ruiz NINE places below the man he lost a razor thin decision to in the other mans hometown. And also above Ruiz.bbjc wrote: ↑13 Mar 2018, 20:12 1. Joshua

Hard to call the heavyweight division mainly because styles do make fights probably more so than any other division. I still think with the right fights uzo ugonoh would light half the division up. Huey fury underrated slightly as well...a lot of guys will struggle with him. Like uzo he needs the right development fights. A lot of bad publicity off the back of a good but negative performance against parker. But parker is third/fourth in a lot of lists tbf. Haye just sneaked in at 15 not sure what's left of him tho tbh.
Pulev has beaten better fighters than either of them.
No Pulev has not beaten a lot of decent fighters. Peter's? Thompson? Chisora? All on the end of losing streaks.Taansend wrote: ↑13 Mar 2018, 23:18Pulev has beaten better fighters than either of them.tiny_acres wrote: ↑13 Mar 2018, 17:48There is no logical debate in putting Pulev above Wilder or Ortiz
Personally I'd have Wilder above Pulev but Pulev has beaten a lot of decent fighters.
Chisora was at the end of a losing streak when he fought Pulev?tiny_acres wrote: ↑13 Mar 2018, 23:52No Pulev has not beaten a lot of decent fighters. Peter's? Thompson? Chisora? Ustinov is average at best.
Wilder has consistently beaten better opposition in his last 12 fights as to what Pulev accomplished in his entire career
