Re: Anthony Yarde vs. Callum Johnson

burtons vulnerable too. got stopped by buglioni (who else has bugs stopped?) and looked awful and hurt and easy to hit last time vs a rubbish opponent. beaten no one better then miles shinkwin, who cant even cut it at english level. goes the distance over and over vs poor opponents. ppl would be laughing at yarde if all that was true of him. ppl would also be laughing and saying verified fraud if he had a 115-114 vs ricky summersTwinkle Toes wrote: ↑26 Mar 2018, 12:51 Yarde swerved Burton, wanted Buglioni because he is vulnerable. Johnson is a different beast to Buglioni.
Doubt it will happen while Warren is guiding Yarde
Yet you created a poll about it and using this tweet to justify creating a poll
maybe hes just doesnt want to deal with his rival hearn. anyone with eyes can see how laughable itd be to think that yarde needed protecting from a guy like burton. burton gets kod by his only opponent above area level, who happens to not stop anyone else half decent, and then that guy gets wiped out in 1 by his first decent challengerTwinkle Toes wrote: ↑27 Mar 2018, 12:27 Do't tell me, tell Warren. He clearly doesn't share your views.
Wonder why that is.
Styles make fights pal. Burton would be a good test/measuring stick for Yarde. Another point is regardless of past records, youth & ambition play a lot into performance.jamamb wrote: ↑27 Mar 2018, 13:11 callum johnson and yarde are both well superior to buglioni and burton. you wont see them 115-114 vs ricky summers.
burton gets kod in his only fight above area level, and his best wins over a guy who gets dominated at english level, while yarde destroys a guy who had just drew at euro level for the ebu
Why would he give Burton a chance?black panther wrote: ↑28 Mar 2018, 03:17Styles make fights pal. Burton would be a good test/measuring stick for Yarde. I’m a fan of Yarde but I would like to see him with a young fighter with ambition who is on the up. Instead of facing euro fighters who are in the twilight of their careers.

What does beating him do for Yardes position and record?
Why not face Buglioni instead of Burton?
In turn why not face Johnson instead of Buglioni?
Yarde is being talked about facing Beterbiev, why on earth would he drop back to face Burton?
Doesn't make sense...
? ay? What?!
Rumour has it Yarde is chinny but only a rumour. Worth remembering he's a work in progress and only had a handful of amateur fights. He needs these domestic fights for his development. Some idiot was on yesterday saying he's basically bypassed domestic level because he beat old man Sjekloca who came over to lose. Lunacy man.tobyh5 wrote: ↑28 Mar 2018, 07:45 You can almost guarantee that if Buglioni had won on Saturday, Fwank would have been in IFL waving emails and saying they were going to offer him his best purse to fight Yarde next etc etc but suddenly, they are going in a different direction. Complete swerve. What do they know that we don't? Suspect chin?
tony averlants rangy and i think hed beat everyone burtons beat. certanly a very good shot at it. burtons had 1 fight above area level and he got kod.black panther wrote: ↑28 Mar 2018, 06:40wesshaw1985 wrote: ↑28 Mar 2018, 05:33Why would he give Burton a chance?black panther wrote: ↑28 Mar 2018, 03:17

For his own development. To see how he handles a tall, long range boxer. And regardless of Burtons record or lack of titles it would be a good measuring stick for Yarde to see how good he is.
I’d like to see the Johnson fight. Yarde’s team don’t want it.
It would make absolutely no sense if you were trying to protect a fighter towards a bumper payday or a shot at a second rate "world' title and had zero faith in your fighter... alternatively, it makes very real and obvious sense to any right thinking person in terms of development etc.wesshaw1985 wrote: ↑28 Mar 2018, 05:33Why would he give Burton a chance?black panther wrote: ↑28 Mar 2018, 03:17Styles make fights pal.
