Jones won everything, knocked his opponent down just to lose with essentially one shot with a minute left.
I guess he was caught high but the kiwi didn't look much of a puncher, and Jones didn't hold or take a knee, the ref had no option but to stop it, the Welshman must be gutted.
Who are the commentators? Seems to me like Smith is making sure he hasn't any competition!

Live spoiler....jones stooped with 8 seconds to go after flooring his opponent hard early in 6th and final round....good contest. Jones seemed to be taking control but his opponent was a tough one....fair stoppage imo

Well ive had a £5 double on Povetkin to win in round 1,2 or 3 at evens. Anthony Joshua to win in either 4,5,or 6th at 11/4

its a 6/1 double that pays just under £40

Just got my Box Office app sorted on NowTV.

I hope I haven't just missed the only mishap of the night (Jones).

Out of interest, what is the point of the WBA trinket that Cordina has just won? What will it do for him exactly?

cmdenny wrote: 31 Mar 2018, 12:27 Wow. Jones backed at 1.01 (1/100) on Betfair. It's a wonder he didn't have the experience to take a knee and get a respite, only 20 seconds till the end!
Does that mean someone has put £100 on to win £1 or £1000 to win £10? You'd have to be a proper div to do that.

But what would be the point? He's a couple of years off challenging for a world title so he's not likely to do anything with a top 10 ranking at this stage.
I just don't get why a six fight professional novice needs a 'WBA International' title. The only people that benefits are the WBA with the sanctioning fee.
