I'd rather see Munguia. We already know Spike's level.

I would to. But we are stuck with whoever they choose as a sacrificial lamb

Vanes Martirosyan has emerged as a potential opponent to face GGG at the StubHub Center in Carson, California, on Cinco De Mayo (May 5th), which will likely be televised on a regular HBO platform (non-pay-per-view).

Vanes is probably better than that Jaime guy, but on paper the Mexican looks better, This is clearly just a stay busy fight for GGG to not waste his training for May 5th plus satisfy his sponsors.

If what's being reported is true, as in the fight moving location, outside of the NSAC's jurisdiction, then Jamie Munguia may still face GGG! :o

I think fight fans will be equally disappointed to see GGG face the likes of Vanes Martirosyan, Gary O'Sullivan or Jamie Munguia, with Dan Rafael maintaining that the bout will remain as a HBO PPV.

I think it would’ve been better for Gennady to postpone his fight until June and then face Billy Joe Saunders instead. His entire training camp for the Canelo bout wouldn’t have been wasted.

Imagine Spike upsetting Golovkin. I mean we don't know how much the fight with Canelo took from Golovkin.

Have you seen Gary O'Sullivan face Chris Eubank Jr. and Billy Joe Saunders? GGG would have to suffer a Hayemaker-esque type injury of epic proportions for Golovkin to lose to the Irishman!
