To be honest, I was rooting for Lara, because all Cubans on the top level have been losing recently. I could not watch fight live, I have been watching later on YouTube. It was close, definitely, I may agree with 114-113 Hurd, but you are talking about one-sided fight, and every unbiased boxing fan would claim the opposite.
Again, Hurd is becoming, slowly but surely, the new boxing star, but his job yesterday was not easy, at all.............Lara will stay near the top at LMW...........

The job wasn't easy. He did exactly what is expected from a bigger good boxer against a smaller one - methodically breaking him down and dominating at the end of the fight. It was not a one-sided fight, but once again, Hurd left no doubt about a winner.

To be honest, I will have to rewatch this match. The facts are : a lot of close rounds, Hurd was the more agrresive fighter, Hurd dropped Lara, but Lara had some briliant moments, too.................

I agree with you about Charlo. To me he is still unproven. Hurd has proven 3 times that he deserves the champion label.
