I believe it will still probably happen. They are dismissive of Ronnie and Ronnie knows he wins the 2nd fight and does Zelfa in better style. He’s happy to fight anyone but it’s got to be right for both fighters and their teams..

Well I would think he would have cared about getting the opportunity to fight. As for a rematch clause, I wouldn't expect a specific rematch clause in his contract in the fight with Barrett.

You never answered my question, is he not training with Lochend? I'm sure one of you posted he was, has he moved to Edinburgh (quite funny he tagged himself in as doing yoga round the corner from me), surely Terry would be doing his corner if he was training there?

Yes he trains in lochend and Terry would be in his corner. Trains there Monday to Friday.

I have heard no different when cyclone show is yet. Ronnie is in Belfast. He will do a number on him but everything has to be right. Ronnie has never once been spoken to about any fight. He got told a date from his manager. Went into camp to find out it's a week later. We found out on Twitter. I amnt even sure if the fight has been offered yet as again no communication we presumed it was offered due to black flash promotions on Twitter. For people saying to him to just fight we are mid April with no idea what's happening.

I'll let Ronnie know. He's home today. Problem is it seems we don't have clue about business side haha. Alot of difference of opinions. We back Ronnie and what he says he wants we back. Other side he's got people talking him into stuff and Imo not representing him in the right way.

Simple question. If Ronnie was with Mtk do you believe he would be getting forced into a fight with fear of being left to stagnate? Answer is not a chance. Ronnie has worked his whole life and deserves to he calling the shots. The manager/ promotor should work for the fighter. That's a common misconception. Respect the fighter. And the fighter will respect you. If Ronnie wants to fight someone higher ranked then make it happen. If you want to make something happen then they have to come back and renegotiate. If he wins then what does he get?

I have to disagree with Jamie on the 'if he was with MTK' line, What good have MTK done for any of their fighters?

I have seen nothing wrong with what Ronnies management team have done with him over the last year and a half. He has fought for the British title against Martin J Ward and even after sticking by him after his shall we say "Holiday" they managed to get him the Zelfa fight for the IBF East/West European title.

When was the last time that the MTK management told Frank W@rren or Eddie Hearn where or when their fighters would fight against one of the allegedly or SKY fighters? It has never happened Imo MTK have been very poor in the management of some very good fighters and I don't see why people always seem to think they are some great force in boxing management.

MTK are allegedly lol. Without them fish eyes is In the poo. Tyson,bus, Frampton are there marquee t.v. fighters. What so his management got him a fight with ward on 3 weeks notice and Barrett on 18 days. This has nothing to do with management this is to do with Ronnie changing his ways and training correct. He isn't over training now. Really annoys me people taking credit off a fighter. It's to do with training. Tony Dunlop done an amazing job with Ronnie but truth is last fight Ronnie done more training with Terry at lochend prior and Terry just brings the best out of him. They have work3d together for years just not officially. Say allegedly come back and say Ronnie beat zelfa we will.get you another title fight straight after against say jono Carroll then we might be taking but until they speak to him and give him an incentive then why should he. On ronnies page pro boxers are constantly messaging Saying don't give him a rematch you already won by 5 points dropped him and won. Remember guys this is ronnies career who he is control of not here to just give people tv fights.

Let’s be honest it’s not getting Ronnie the fight!! It was using Ronnie as what they felt was a stepping stone... I look at good management and can say Carl Greaves for getting Sam Bowen a British Title fight on a home show.. A fighter with a lesser profile than Ronnie... I will give another example Anto Cacacae fighting Joseph Laryea in a Commonwealth title eliminator on Chanel 5 Hughie Fury Undercard.. Both managers working for their fighter.. Im definitely not saying that Mark is not a good manager, what I’m saying is in fairness any manager can put their fighters in fights on an away show when the big promoters are putting them on to lose to their guys.. Ronnie could sell 500 tickets in Dundee and if it’s a big fight can easily sell out 2400 tickets in the Caird Hall.. In my opinion a good manager would be building a fighter at home. Ronnie is a entertaining fighter he get more views on IFL TV than any other Scottish boxer with the exception of Josh Taylor. He is a proper character yet we don’t as a country get behind our own.. If Ward v Clark was on a Ricky Burns undercard in Scotland and Hearn was pushing Ronnie he would of got the decision and Ward is fighting in a World Title Eliminator v James Tennyson. Anyone who takes credit for someone else’s accomplishments are missing the bigger pictures if you ask me.. A managers and promoter in boxing are meant to serve the boxer not the other way about. The exact same for the BBBofC all meant to serve the boxer.. Problem is most boxers are treated like rubbish even if you can make managers/promoters big money.. Too many people with their own agendas and if I’m honest it’s disgusting.. It’s the boxers who are the gladiators. they are the one risking their life’s.. Would love to see Hearn or Warren stepping through the ropes for £10k against a fighter like Ronnie or Zelfa. Or even some of the journeymen they use.. Would they go in the ring for that money and risk their life?? Ronnie v Zelfa was one of the best fights on TV for lots of years and it was Ronnie who was the draw from his performance. It will be up there for fight of the year.. The uppercut was punch of the month.. I think that any manager taking the fight like Zelfa v Ronnie should of had a plan on place for after he won.. That should of been agreed and a good manager would of done that.. As Jamie says what next for Ronnie when he beats Zelfa again. A trilogy?? Just dropped because he isn’t in their plans?? Does anyone really think they are interested in Ronnie?? If they were they would of jumped on him.. Warren is in direct competition with Hearn.. If Ronnie has been working with Terry for years unofficially then why didn't he just mover there officially years ago instead of moving around so much? Surely this would have been beneficial to his career?

Because his manager was adamant he trained in Belfast. Ronnie used to be in Terry gym for parts before cacace fight. He signed with mhd and they wanted him there. He wanted to come back and train with Terry last year and I convinced him to stay in Belfast but this time he wants back. He's having a kid and loving training at lochend. As for moving about that's rubbish. Ronnie has trained and will continue to train in so gyms such as with guys like Imran naem and fran Edwards just to get sparring. Learns from everyone. People have no idea how commited he is. All he is asking for is a route to go down. When he beats Barrett then what's next. He isn't a stepping stone and isn't gonna let them use him. He won by 5 rounds dropping him to a comfortable win. He hasn't got rematches in fights that were alot closer.

Decent purse are you joking?? How much do you think Ronnie will take home after expenses?? For 3 months work.. What will Zelfa be getting paid.. There isn’t any excuses if they confirm what’s next for Ronnie once he beats Zelfa then the fight will happen..No fight has been officially offered.. Do you think Ronnie should just fight for the sake of a few thousand pound?? Big stage how is it?? It’s simple give Ronnie a route for his progression or let him out of the daft contract.. Ronnie’s best interests are not getting looked after here and I can’t believe how many people think that’s acceptable..

Go on ohara Davies you tube he just uploaded an amazing video about fighter purses. I amnt sure what you guys think ronnies pay is but I'm telling you now isn't great. 20% manager, 10% trainer and I have a feeling allegedly take a cut too maybe. What Ronnie walked away with he could earn working for 3 months work. He earns alot less than me once the outgoings are gone. Guys on here seem to have no idea. You look at salido who beat lomachenko. He won the fight and says I won't I don't need that fight, make it worth my while. Ronnie is expected to now go into zelfa barrett backyard in another 12 rounder wasting more time on a Ppv potentially undercard for an extra £1000 which he is contracted too haha? Sorry but no thanks. Belfast on the 30th he's 33 he doesn't need this so called exposure. Cream always rises to the top. Either renegotiate the deal or it isn't happening. Warren and hearn manipulate these smaller managers... the fighters need to stand up and say piss off.

Won't rue anything. Professional world kickboxing champion. Good professional career. Can easily switch over and do mma I know that's something he may like to do. Go back kickboxing and away from politics. Sky is the limit he will succeed any avenue he chooses. Trust me there is more to life than boxing. Boxing ? Kickboxing? Mma? All the same just loves fighting.

Course we have ambitions for that but we arnt gonna sell our soul to the devil for it. Ronnie is a very talented man trust me. Amateur boxing he had very little fights and went in at very good level. Got robbed against Charlie Flynn and beat guys with 200 fights. He will do well wherever he is.

I quite like Pat very decent interview.. I agree with the mentally strong but Zelfa was if he wasn’t he would of got stopped. I actually agree again the fight is won on mental and physical strength unfortunately Zelfa doesn’t have the same physical strength as Ronnie. I believe it’s a weight issue but Pat admits it himself he’s a dreamer and my honest opinion is stop dreaming and more reality.. British Boxers is social media your doing it!! Listen to him and a Zelfas interviews their arrogance is what beats them..

There is a point that interview was done before the Tyson announcement so Warrens team are telling Ronnie’s team the fight is the 2nd of June yet Pat knows it’s the 9th.. I will say it time and time again be real men and give Ronnie the respect he deserves. Ronnie is the champion not Zelfa. We maybe look on things different than people on here. We don’t want the crumbs from someone’s table. We respect the fighters the ones that go in the ring and fight not the promoters who profit from them.. allegedly and Steve Wood want this fight because their profit from it.. You can see Pat isn’t too keen on it and neither is Zelfa.. Those mental doubts won’t go away and physical Ronnie will be 20 times better.. Ronnie knows he can hurt and stop Zelfa.. Zelfa knows he doesn’t carry the power to keep Ronnie off.. I’m hoping this fight happens I like Zelfa but if his team aren’t strong enough to realise they are getting used then they will find out the hard way!!
